Davenport's Task

"I haven't used one before either, but I'm sure it's not that difficult." Amber says with a reassuring smile, "Maybe Zane with show both of us how." THen she turns to Zane with a warm, expectant look. "WOuld that be ok ZAne?"

Dylan: "Education is always nice."

She stood stunned for a second at Dylan's actions and then replied, "Yeah. It is."

Zane stands there, smiling. "Ah, Eric...Eric! You'll have to sacrifice some morality eventually man." Zane turns, then grabs the rifle off of the ground. "Now, the M14 is hellishly simple..."

Zane pulls back the hammer, pulls out the mag, works the hammer again, then aims in the air. A faint click is heard, nothing more."Safe, somewhat." He then flicks a switch on the right side of the gun, the safety/ROF selector. "Now, with the safety on, it's perfectly safe, obviously." He then puts the magazine back in, pulls the hammer, flicks of the safety, then fires once. "Simple, eh?"

He repeates the process of safety, then slings both rifle over his shoulder. "You never know, I might not get the chance to reload!" He says with a smug grin on his face.

"OHhh!" she exclaimed as understanding shown on her face. She giggled. "I think I got it." She smiles and practices a couple times. "Like this?" Does exactly what Zane showed them.

"Exactly!" He laughs slightly. "It's simple, and I find it funny that you find this funny!" Zane continues laughing, eventually roaring like crazy. "Oh ho, funnnnyyy stuff. Heh."

Smiles and watches Zane laugh. "You have an entertaining laugh Zane." Giggles.

"Oh, more funny. I haven't laughed like that in a long time. Well, considering our entire group, I'm not suprised I find everything funny. We've got Mr. EmoDoctor over there, Sir Sarcasm, You; Miss Giggles, and Mom,calling, everyone hun." He continues to laugh, for quite a while. "Ah, well we should get going."

"Look, there's fighting, and then there's shooting, okay?" Eric pulls out the clover and turns it over and over in his hands. "With a knife, or cyanide, they can still recognise death, and die respectfully. You can't have an open casket funeral with something with it's face riddled with bullets,"

"Lesson numeral Uno: Aim for center-mass, not the head!" Zane found this hilarious, and continued to laugh. 'Heh, I need to chill..."

Looks at Zane for a min with the smile gone from her lips. "People can surprise you. Don't only pay attetnion to their apperance Zane."

Dylan: "Have we our rifles? Most certainly, so lets roll before someone asks about that shooting that we were in no way involved in."

"I agree," Amber says and she turns to leave.

Rae blinked and tapped Zane on the shoulder with her gun. "So I'm mom eh?" She smirked softly and slung the gun over her shoulder. "Lets get going dears."

"Be a dear and don't do that again, mmkay hun?" Zane replied in a mock tone, roaring into laughter again. "I'm in a good mood, let's go!" He said, running East.

Amber follows, breaking into an efortless trot.

Rae chuckled and followed suit, she was able to run pretty quickly while carrying the gun surprisingly enough. She smiled as the wind rushed past her face, sending her hair flying out behind her as she ran with light steps across the ground.
