Génerále Kaeréna nodded, standing with gaze focused towards the remains the fortification, momentarily, a contemplative expression on her face, before responding. "I've seen all that is necessary."

She had mixed thoughts herself, and several questions she wanted to ask, but, with a set protocol to follow and guidelines already set forward by the imperial palace, so long as required protocol was followed and condition met, such questions were not particularly necessary, thus, she kept them to herself. Politely, with an approving smile, she looked to Ihrig. "Your wares meet necessary requirements. I believe we can come to an agreement. Of course, I'm sure you already understand that we already produce our own explosives and rifles in copious quantities here in the Holy Empire, meaning that such commodities are not a necessity. But, that being said, our doors are never closed to trade of any kind, and additional armaments are rarely a bad thing, so long as the price is right. On that note.. Perhaps we should return to the trade center to discuss what Ironhull would be asking for in exchange, and to discuss formalities?"

OOC: Feel free to macro-post up until just after Ihrig finishes describing the details of Ironhull's offer back in the center and I'll see to getting in a quick reply of my own. After that, we can do what's needed to finish this off. My dice roll doesn't take effect until after the first shipment, and has no bearing on Ihrig's ship. Will get to it later. Ties into other unrelated plans.

Ihrig had settled down back at the center. He was satisfied with his work here, he just needed to close up the deal. "Im glad to hear you were impressed with the demonstration. Ironhull would request wood, commodities and perhaps the persute of a military alliance. Word has spread to Ironhull that the Empire is a powerful ally, and a fearsome opponent in battle. We would like to never see that aspect of you though." He let out a small chuckle as he waited for a response.

Génerále Kaeréna nodded with an amused smile. "Wood is readily available in the Holy Empire, and is a resource we would be happy to trade with. We would also be happy to trade with commodities - Naturally, of course, we would need to itemise these commodities and ensure such a trade is appropriately organised. But regardless, we can agree to this. As there currently exists no formal agreement of currency exchange between our two nations, our trade deal would have to involve an exchange of goods upon an agreed value. We would offer a fair price and expect a fair price in return - Quid pro quo. As for a military alliance.. I wouldn't rule it out, but, of course, I have only been authorised by the Dominante to negotiate a trade agreement - Any military agreement would first have to either be overseen by him, (the Dominante), or reviewed by the Rasvát Génerále martial collective."

OOC: Because it'll take too long and be too tedious to actually work out the figures and values, and I doubt either of really want to..

With that, the pair began the process of negotiating a price - Eventually, a price was agreed upon, and the two of them set to work drawing up an agreement.

Génerále Kaeréna proposed, ad interim, the agreement be temporal, subject to renegotiation in the future, should any changes be necessary and should both parties wish to form a military alliance in the future, putting aside any interest in military agreement at that time and leaving of the board until a later date, suggesting that with their late arrival to the Holy Empire due to being lost at sea, undoubtedly, their own nation would've by that stage already assumed the worst, and spending longer than necessary in the Holy Empire, as would be the case awaiting a response from the Dominante or martial collective, could potentially impinge on both the agreement and their own well-being back home. With some convincing, and an eventual agreement on price, the deal was done.

Softly taking a sip of her teá, Kaeréna breathed a sigh of relief at finishing up for the day. "Before you set off, would you like naval escortment to the border? Thus far, no foreign vessels have been effected, and the situation is contained, but there have been numerous reports of pirates patrolling international waters between our two nations. It's not necessary, of course, but I would offer naval support to you, and suggest taking it, as a precaution."

OOC: Also, would Ihrig be trading a load from the ship he came in, or would what was on-board be purely small quantities appropriate for the demonstration? I'm not sure if I should macro loading up yours with wood or something off the bat or if we wait until later. And sorry in advance for folling our IC posts with so much OOC content. XD
