I actually had that pirate RP up and going for a while here, and it did turn out to be less anime like and more authentic sailing / piracy actually... but I did promise the community that I would bring it back before long. I took it down because of a lack of posting, and I had to think my plot out a bit more. XD

But, it was called "Rising Tide", so look for it again in the future!

It's been a while since this topic has been used... *wipes off the dust* Anyways, I have a gameplay method that I'd like to sort of discuss, if anyone is interested.

In nearly all RPs, we use third person writing and act as gods over our characters. I think it'd be interesting to have an RP that was actually first person for once. It'd be something new and I think it'd be pretty fun actually playing as your character rather than kind of hovering around them and directing their moves.

There are also some advantages. Some RPs have problems with players controlling other characters and such... With a first person game, I'd think that wouldn't happen as much. It also lets you elaborate more on what your character thinks of things and the others around them, so it'd be cool to see what it'd look like.

What do you guys think? It's just an old method that I'd like to see actually used, so I'm wondering if anyone else would be interesting to try it out sometime.

That is a very good idea, however in some RPs I know of its a dual view RP in a sense. What if we did a FP RP and made it so where other people can change the plot and not just 1 character?
