Ok, I am thinking a pirate game. I have been wanting to host one for a while now, and I think I might just do that... I do have two games going now, so it may come later.

But anywho, I think I might loosely base it off of the setting from One Piece. Only of course the story would be completely new, and players will be in one crew. Therefore, it would end up being Linear. I have a plot in mind, but I am not giving it away... so who would support this crazy swashbuckling adventure on the high seas?!!"

Anywho, my idea for an rp is kind of like OM. It's a fantasy world I made up, and is what The Expedition is about. I kind of want to flesh it out in my mind more, first, and if people read it, the background would be easier to understand.

Stranded sounds cool and I would love to have a pirate game like the one you were talking about, Bleach. Basically, anything with flintlocks sounds cool to me.

alright I just want to run this by you people, has anyone ever played the C&C games such as Renagade or any of the tiberium wars games.
basicaly a game based off of that but you would play as a nod soldier in a squad.

Guys, I am not going to tell anyone what to do here... but just know that we already have an insane amount of RP's here. So, before deciding to host, or thinking about hosting, think about whether that RP idea really is good enough to be hosted, or whether it should, or can, be put into a simple forum game.

Hope you understand where I am coming from.

I don't know much about C&C, but I think it would be interesting to play.

I have been thinking of an idea for an RP about time travel (kind of like Michael Crichton's novel Timeline as well as Highlander's story in the reading glass). It would likely take place in an alternate timeline in the 40's or even present day, but it would be about a bunch of archaeoligots (think time traveling Indiana Jones) that go back in time to collect various artifact, though after a while a strange type of creatures begin to chase the time travelers through time, trying to kill them. Basically, problems happen with their time machine, and they have to figure out why and find out what these strange monsters are.

Anyone interested? (I probably won't host it anytime soon, but I want to see if anyone would like this)

about my idea, I was thinking and I would be possible to make it a more free game. as in you choose which side ( GDI or NOD) and fight it out that way.

I couldn't join a time travel RP. The paradoxes would end my sanity multiple times over. xD

I prefer to throw the realism away and just have some fun with it! Also, I've never really seen a time travelling RP before so I think it would he quite fun, as long as you don't overcomplicate it.

That's why you make a Time Travel RP based off of my story, the whole point of the UNLSF is to keep the timeline the same. However in later chapters you will find out that all the UFO sightings are people seeing their vehicles looking for UFO's, kinda funny isn't?

My idea has some logic behind it, but it would mostly be in the info sections. Plus, I like to make original ideas of my own (though it isn't really that original, actually). My theory is kind of hard to explain, but it won't really matter that much. All that matters is that we are going back in time and going on adventures of a kind that no one has ever experienced.

Part of my theory in time travel is that you don't have to have people keeping the timeline the same because changing the future is impossible. If time paradoxes were possible, everything would have been messed up from the start, since technically, the time travelers have already been there. They aren't altering anything. It's already happened. Some of my idea has to do with strange and unexplained things...

Kinda creepy. I came to this site with a pirate rp idea in the near future. Well it wouldn't revolve around pirates but more or less naval in general. It would be set in a imaginative world I think of myself. It would be closely controlled by the dm(gm w/e). I still have yet to learn all of your specific ways of roleplaying or maybe I just call everything different or nothing at all.

Anyway. It might need a few more days of planning but I do intend to do it. Would anyone have any specific ideas on how I should do it?
