Also, I think it is best we don't refer to it as "newpandy". It is a fact that Pandy is utterly dead now, and will remain so. It is best to just move on, as painful as it may be to some. However, I am not saying that Pandy is completely dead, for it shall always lie in our memories.

Downsized Games, DG if you will, is henceforth the new site, and permanent replacement of the late Pandemic Studios Community.

I wasn't saying they were "revived", just saying the boards were made from partial old pandemic thus calling them new.

Ok, just checking. Yeah, I just got a couldn't find webpage type thing from Chrome when I tried to post.

So, I concede that this "DG" as I have started to call it, has definitely taken the role of a new "Pandemic-feeling" community. Though it is not entirely whole yet... I am definitely getting the old Pandy vibes. This, to me at least, is both a good and bad thing.

Good: I loved the community there at Pandy (RIP), and all the friends I made there. They were some of the best innernets days I ever enjoyed. There is definitely a feeling of togetherness, however it feels a bit short, like those awkward family reunions (this will probably pass).

Bad: There are already double posts. CCCP as an example (not trying to single anyone out) already has nearly 150 posts when the site literally only just started a few days ago... and has a limited number of threads. I have noticed as well that the game ideas are just as unoriginal as the prior site.... (ie; a large abundance of modern war games). Not that this won't change, I am merely stating what I see.

Posting as far as games is about the same, rudimentary for any RP and irks me greatly... I blame this entirely on Red and the rest of the RPing community I have come to love about as much as old Pandy. XDDDD

So, what I'm saying here is that I am currently happy [enough] with DG and you can expect me there.... a lot. HOWEVER - as for forum games, do NOT expect me to join any unless they somehow differentiate from the normal "asterisk - action" "few sentence" games. No longer my style.

But this time, Russia isn't an enemy state!

Looks like I'll have to join after all. Although, for me joining forum games...I might. It depends on the intelligence level of the posts in the game. If they are led by idiots no. More than that, maybe. I don't do one sentence posts anymore, however I still like the forum games like DW and other classics.

Nope, I am staying put. That may be some kind of new Pandy, but it will never be my home, LS. ;D So, no worries. I will not be leaving, and hopefully no one else here will.
