Dangerous Waters (ATTN: Armos)

The Falcon, under the captaincy of one Athal Sintha, was on a routine patrol of Erynnen waters some ten miles to the south of the Archipelago, when the lookout spotted a sail far-off. Sintha frowned as he looked through his spyglass.

"It's not one of our ships... they wouldn't be off their scheduled routes," he said. "And it's not any device I recognize on the sail. Neither Capuan nor Kyokan, but definitely foreign. I don't recognize the make of the ship." He waved to the steersman. "Bring her head around, and make a course for that sail. We'll find out what they're doing trespassing here soon enough."

The Falcon moved swiftly across the waves to cut off the path of the other ship. As soon as they were within hailing range, Sintha shouted "Unknown ship, you are trespassing in Erynnen waters. Identify yourself or we shoot!"

The Abenteuer, one of the vessels sent out by Admiral Sol to search for new civilizations was stopped on morning by an unknown vessel. The Captain of the unknown vessel stepped forth and shouted "Unknown ship, you are trespassing in Erynnen waters. Identify yourself or we shoot!". Captain Christian Bartsch stepped forth from the helm and ordered to lay anchor. He walked briskly to the bow of the ship and yelled in response.

"I am Captain Christian Bartsch of the Iron Empire! We mean no harm. We are here for diplomatic purposes only!"

"Have your crew stand down, and we'll pull up alongside you!" ordered Sintha. "If what you say is true, we will bring you to Eryn, and you can negotiate with the Council there."

Captain Bartsch looked to his men and they did what the captain ordered.
"i have papers, From his Highness Durn Grushna III. It details our intentions and desires for peace. If that is what you need for proof."

The Falcon pulled up alongside the Abenteur, and ten grappling hooks snaked across the gap between the ships, pulling them together. Sintha and five of his crew members nimbly made their way across, and collected the captain's papers. After studying them for a moment, Sintha nodded. "Very well. We shall conduct you to Eryn."

Captain Bartsch nodded and ordered the crew to stations. He saw the Captain off and returned to the helm. "Raise Anchor!"
