General Synopsis

Eucatastrophy

The Third Age has ended not with a bang, but with a whimper it seems. A new age has taken over, one strife with subjugation, chaos, and darkness. Sauron has finally retrieved The One Ring, grasping forth for his fell ambitions single-handedly. His might now knows no bounds, harboring a evil force of millions. His Nazgul still bring terror in the hearts of the people, being the most trusted retainers of the Dark Lord's power. Mt. Orodruin has never been so red in the sky. Further west, the conditions of the powerless worsen, and those with any shred of hope... start to lose it.

But contrary to those people, there is still a glimmer deep and solitary, marred by a heavy cloak of shadow. Even in the times like this, when the Kingdom of Man has begun to utterly collapse, there are still those who bare hope: in a new age of light, an era of peace, and prosperity for all. But even so, the threat of that small beacon of light's breaking, is still very very large. It is up to the few, those who have a will and a want to restore the light of Middle Earth, to do so.

A major surprise has also occurred, though is gone relatively unnoticed. The last survivors from a long lineage return to the land of their forebears straight from the Undying Lands. The last of the pure Numenorians, a total of only twenty, their leader being a brave warrior. He comes to the land by ship, also bearing some Noldorians and other forgotten peoples.

Now, these new heroes, both foreign and remaining, will band together for a better cause. The fight will come back to Sauron in full force. All peoples still harboring a bit of hope, will become united for the cause, learning to fight, and survive against an indomitable foe.
