Synopsis - Rising Tide

It has been 100 years since the last King of the Pirates had been executed publicly by the hands of the ever notorious Marines from the World Government. The King of the Pirates, as a man who literally owned everything in the world, of course, left that great wealth behind for the next Pirate King to come along. Thousand of people struggle to form their own crews in order to retrieve this treasure, called One Piece.

Pirates become powerful, although the Marines are always the largest threat to their sea-going power. Other pirates whom do not have as much power try to find their way around the forces stealthily. Although, it doesn't matter how much power a crew has, as the mysteries of the Grand Line are known to none aside from the greatest pirates of them all. Those who have sailed those seas have been changed forever, being hardened by ferocious storms, giant predators namely Sea Kings, and... other dangers. But, most who dare to voyage into the Grand Line, never make it out alive.

Once a crew becomes notorious, of course, so does the dangers they face. A bounty will continually grow upon their heads until captured, killed, or otherwise gone missing on sea. Marines will always be dispatched to find you, as well as hungry bounty hunters, which tend to be some of the strongest men and women on the seas.

But, what of the pirates relatively unknown, starting out? They have no reputation... no bounty. They can be terrifying strong, and their wit could be stronger. One thing is certain upon these seas, the unknown is the greatest factor that decides life or death.

Ok, here is more or less my dialogue to all you lucky players.

We will all start upon the same island, called Frigid Heath. The Island is found in the North Blue, and is seen as a winter oriented island. The setting would pretty much be always snowy and log cabins for usual homes.

The water is of course, VERY cold. Pirates rarely venture to the town, but if they do, they are surprisingly welcomed onto the island.

My character, which as you should already know as the Captain, is a native to the island. Hyouga decides to create a pirate crew as a child in order to fulfill his ambition of becoming the Pirate King. Therefore, upon becoming eighteen years old, and after another Pirate crew attacks the island, Hyouga decides to create his own crew. He will pick you, or your character can request to be in the crew instead. Either way works fine.

All players' character will have their own set of ambitions of course, and their own beliefs or what have you. Of course, one belief that you all must share, is that there are no rules on the sea... you are sighing onto a Pirate Crew you know. You don't have to be mean or wicked, you could be chivalrous for all I care, but just always remember that you are a pirate. Fighting is a major factor that of course goes along with the voyage and adventure.
