The Fight For Sperare Impero [Attention To All]

With the body of Elite General buried all of the citizens of New Solaris knew one thing. War was going to happen in the Capital and all over the country. The original government has fallen and several fractions have rise to fight for superiority. Two Factions who are the strongest both have a section of the capital.

The Solaris Templars have control of the eastern side of Sperare Impero. It contains not only the strongest fort (Darko's Palace) but several of the cannons that guard it as well. But the Solaris Legion have control the western side of Sperare Impero. It contains the main entrance, the arms factories, and finally the entrances to both the underground road and as well the city walls.

The Solaris Templars are surrounded but have the more firepower in the city. As soon the sun descends and the moon rises. War begins. Its part of Solaris code that all civil war will begin when the moon rises in order for its citizens to leave areas that will be attacked.

As the city lights up the two vast factions prepare for war.

"Damn it all, this was not supposed to happen!" muttered Kerron as he and the other two Ravens hurried through the streets. "They were supposed to be fighting the Capuans, not each other!"

"Maybe you should try asking them nicely," said Jacelyn drily, tossing her knife and catching it expertly. Kerron groaned.

"This is not the time for levity! Jacelyn, head to the Elite General's palace and talk to the Templar leaders. See if you can get them to hold off for awhile. Miri, the same for the leader of the Legion. We can't allow this to happen, or the Capuans will sweep in and institute martial law. I'll go to our peoploe and make sure that they stay out of it."

Inside the Palace of once held Darko holds only soldier of Solaris Templars. All polishing their weapon and reloading their weapons. Inside the war room stands the leader of Solaris Templars. General Desislav Dmitriev a man who was once a Priest before the war. He preached equality but it seems that he has to prove it.

Grigori Alvabate walks inside the war room where Desislav Dmitriev stands. Grigori was once a Sargent for the Border Security and was the one who discovered the ambassador to Ironhull. He serves under the Templars as the Sergent of Arms.

Grigori places his one knee and bows his head towards Desislav Dmitriev and says "Sir a Raven named Jacelyn asks to see you". Desislav Dmitriev pats Grigori on the shoulder and says "Grigori there is no need to call me sir. Just say my name it is not disrespectful to me. So a Raven needs to see me, please escort him here".

Grigori stands up and gives a salute to Desislav. As he walks out of the war room Desislav sits at the former Elite Generals seat. He scratches his head and says to himself "These Ravens must not truly understand of what is going on".

Jacelyn was brought quickly to the general, and as soon as she was in the room she began protesting. "General Dmitriev, this is no good! If the Capuans see that you are fighting among yourselves, they will move in more troops to restore your order! Is it traditional to kill each other after a war? I would have thought that you had more sense! Do you want more invaders in the city? Because if you are attempting to ensure that the Capuans enact martial law and seize even more power for themselves, this is the way to go about it."

Dmitriev was standing as the visitor started to speak her words. It was obviously that she didn't know that the Caupans are the least of New Solaris. He faces to the windows and finally says "It is understandable for someone like your self to be worried. But the truth is this is a war that has been fought for more than a 500 years. Before New Solaris was formed our two Factions have been fighting. The Legion was once in control of this country. They only believe in war and purity. When they where in control exactly 500 years ago the entire country was in a constant fear. The Legion follow their beliefs on a man named Chernobog Death. This man believed in the purity of man kind where anyone else like Capauns are to be killed. In the 1100's he formed the Legion where he massacred 20,000 souls in one day through the means of pain full torture."

Dmitriev grabs a book that looks very ancient and shows it to the visitor. "This book tells the real history of this land. When New Solaris was formed we the Templars tried our best to hide the past and we had our people infiltrate into the government. Leonardo Sin Clair, George Hillton and finnaly Darko De Luca. These three Elite Generals worked with us."

He brings the visitor to a map that showed all of New Solaris. But he points to the old city of Porta Urbs. "When the Capuans attacked they did not realize that under this city was a secret prison ran by us. He hold one man and that is the leader of the Legion Marko Petrov. He is the biggest threat to everyone and it gets must worst than this." Dmitriev points to the western side of the capital and says "The Legion might not know about this but this is the location to the secret prison which houses all Chernobog Death items. We can not allow the Legion to discover this because this will lead to not just a civil war but a genocide of society."

Dmitriev walks away and heads out to the door and finally says "If you send someone to the Legion I would go after them quickly because if caught him or her will die because of their beliefs. The Capuans acted recklessly onto this nation. Now they will understand of why this society is about military. Its not to invade or conquer but to protect itself and its secrets."

OOC: I just want you to note, Desert, that Capua is currently quite dominant in Solaris. They essentially own the entire southern part of your nation - not to mention, although you have troops, they are a far cry from a large military. Capua, Erynnen, and the HE have crippled you severely, both militarily, economically, and politically. This of course means that raising the troops, let along morale to fight is... well... currently impossible.

HOWEVER, if you use tricks like that prison thing and stuff like that - it's all well and good, just note that means an attack on Capua and perhaps their allies... which would trigger the complete invasion of Sperare Impero (as Red himself has prepared more than aptly for).

I'm not saying this to butt in or to influence your decision all that much, but because I have to mod the Republic in Red's stead since he will be offline for a week or two because he doesn't have a laptop at college for the moment.

It turned 9:00 pm in the capital. The clock towers start ringing the bells and the two factions get ready to fight. The entire city is nearly empty. Many civilians left the city in order to avoid being in the cross fire. Many of them do not know who the two factions really are but knew that both dislike each other.

The Templar soldiers start marching out of the Palace and proceed for a attack from the legion. Their armor and weapons are very different of what the New Solaris Army had. The armor of which they worn was locked up in secret locations all over the country side. It was old but very effective to use. The muskets themselves where what was sold to the civilian merchant ships. Some of them where made to fire a lance instead of musket balls (whale gun).



As for the Legion as well move out. Many of them start forming small groups each with a guy who has a specialty. The stockpile of the Legion had was closely modern. The armor came off dead soldiers and same as for the weapons. But their unique aspect is the shield as which they carried. All of them where made out of scrap metal and covered with wood. Each had a unique design to it b ut the color was the same.




Right now the battle will be now on from character point of view.

Kazimeriz Lombardi (Centurion "Captain" Legion)

Kazimeriz was a former Department of National Security Agent. When the war was soon was over he had loss his faith with the government. He did alot of dirty work for them and believed it was time for change. Thats when a messenger from the Legion appeared. His anger is what made him join the Legion. He believes that anything that is not human should be burned.


"Centurion two enemy soldiers to the right" said one of his subordinates. Kazimeriz grabs his shield and starts to walk in a prone position having his shield block everything. As he does it his 5 subordinates follow. The group is spotted by two Templar and both fire their musket. The musket balls miss and as soon both of them reload both Kazimeriz and his subordinates pull out their swords and charge to the two Templars. One Templar gets kicked in the stomach and a sword slice into his skull. The other one gets lucky his helmet protects him and one swing the Templar solider cuts one of Kazimeriz's subordinates neck wide open. "You bastard!!!" said Kazimeriz. He charges to the Templar and upholsters his pistol. He pistol whips the left side and quickly aims for the opening in the Templars head. One shot and the Templar falls down. When the two Templars are down Kazimeriz sees the Palace but also hears the canons firing onto the city where all of the Legion soldiers are.

It was time to move out and regroup with the other Legion soldiers. But before Kazimeriz says his order 6 Templar soldiers on white horses gallop closer and closer to Kazimeriz subordinates. All of the Templar soldiers are carrying tridents and every single of Kazimeriz subordinate land on the ground with tridents thrust into their backs. The Templars surround him and outnumber him by 1 to 6. Kazimeriz grips his sword and says "Rot in hell you bastards". He charges but it becomes unsuccessful. Three Templars aim and fired their muskets at Kazimeriz. The Templars ride off and Kazimeriz dies slowly. Memories flash by and soon Kazimeriz takes his last breath seeing only the palace walls firing cannons at his comrades.

Grigori Alvabate was on the edge of the palace walls watching the fight go on. The Legion seemed to keep pushing on even though every step closer to the Palace was going to kill them. The Templars where undoubtedly winning this fight. It was true that the Legion out numbered the Templars but it seemed that the cannons from the Palace is wiping out brigades of Legion soldiers.

"Alright men we got them by the rope, keep firing and keep slashing away" shouted Grigori. Grigori and his five subordinates put on their armor getting ready to lead the Templars into the city where they will be able to push the Legion out of the capital.

But before Grigori can get on his horse and lead the Templar Army into victory. General Desislav Dmitriev walks out of the palace wearing his armor. "Gentlemen its time to push out that bastard Marko to the gates of hell" shouted Desislav.

As soon the gates open General Desislav Dmitriev leads all of the Templars into the city in order to finish off the Legion. It was working the one massive Legion army are pouring back further and further until finally the only way to escape is through the gates of the capital. The Legion was going to lose this battle, the men who controlled the gates are now the Templars. As soon the gates where raised scared Legion soldiers pour out of the gate and soon so does Marko Petrov.

When the gates close Marko Petrov stands outside of the gate and shouts out "We the Legion will return and we will finish you bastards off. Desislav Dmitriev when I get my hands on you I will make sure you die on a crucifix." shouted Marko. He and his mean ride off away from the city.

As soon the Legion rides off the Templars carry their flag onto the top of the city walls and hang them above the city gates. Sperare Impero is now Templar territory.
