On a side note, I may attempt to host an RP here soon. Hopefully that'll help.

Desert, I was referring to my RP on CF. I finally finished up my winter semester at college and I'm waiting to see what my grades are. I shall be free to post in RPs and such until the 5th of January. That's when school will pick back up and my work hours should still remain for the time being(since it is the winter and therefore our down season) around 18-19 a week. I'll post as much as I can and as often as I can. I'm hoping as someone said before that LS' activity picks back up since most of us are done will school for a while anyway and winter break of some sort is here.

If anyone else would like to join my RP over on CF feel free to do so. It's not too late in the game to join so to speak.

So, Vice President Joe Biden came to my school today to give us a speech about affording college. I'm not entirely sure why he chose my school, but it was pretty damn cool. Although, having all of the secret service around was a pain in the ass.

Speaking of university, one of my good friends from high school is finally transferring to my University since he finished up with his two year community college.

Sounds like it would be Tony.

Side note Bleach, I will post in Hysteria again. I've been busy with school and forgot that I needed to post. I'll get it in ASAP. After all, I've also got to get my RP back up to it's normal pace again after a bit of a speed bump so that should help me remind myself.

Just in case none of you were aware -

Yesterday, LS and even RPGF participated in the blackout against the SOPA/PIPA bill. Nothing was deleted from this site, all was safe. Just wanted to let you all know, incase you came to LS during the blackout and obviously were not able to get onto the site.

So i came onto this site the yesterday to see if you guys were doing anything for the "Go Black" thing against the upcoming SOPA bill, and what do i find? You guys are already on strike for the day haha well whoever made the decision to do so, kudos to you

Oh, and a slight recommendation. You all should get Google+ and add me to your "Legacy Society" circle so we can share news there if you are into that sorta jazz. If not, it's cool too.

Speaking of Google, they have new policies that you all might wanna check out and read up to make sure you are still cool with them.


Hopefully SOPA will die along with PIPA. If not, they are going to tick more than just the general public off. They will tick off Anonymous, 98% of the youth and many many others.

SOPA had been cast out of congress, so no worries about that. PIPA, not sure about at the moment.

In addition, I was the one who decided to join the petition and blackout LS alongside many other sites. I'm sorry I didn't ask everyone else's opinion of the movement, however I assumed that everyone here would be completely onboard. Afterall, SOPA / PIPA was extremely harmful toward the Internet at large, as well as our individual rights as US citizens.

The new one, ACTA I think it's called, seems to be just as bad as SOPA.

EDIT: I think we're all onboard Bleach to be against that. If we aren't well, different views we share then.

Glad to see SOPA is dead for good though. Anonymous isn't done fighting though, they declared War and are shutting down Facebook on Sunday I believe it is.

Figures. lol, Anonymous.... Luckily, I don't put anything important on my profile. And I believe ACTA is in Europe somewhere... perhaps Sweden? I don't remember.

Either way, it's censorship.

Indeed, it's terrible that governments in this day and age would even consider such pieces of legislation. Hopefully websites over in Europe will start acting out against the bill and it won't pass.

Well, I understand that I am in the minority, but I could see where the government was coming with the bills. I mean their intentions were to stop online piracy, which are a pretty big problems for artists and filmmakers. I doubt if they really wanted to shut down forums such as these. And I think that Anonymous is the biggest joke there ever was. Instead of protesting on the streets, they are just a bunch hackers who shut down websites for a few days at most. But these are just my opinions.

I am against online piracy but I am against SOPA because they are doing all the wrong moves.

Imagine that there's a lot of crime in a neighborhood. Because the police are unable to stop the crime, the city evicts everyone in the neighborhood, tears down every building, and walls it off. Thus, crime cannot literally take place in that neighborhood anymore, but at what cost? The neighborhood is merely the location that crime takes place just as YouTube is the location in which copyright infringement occurs.

But I somewhat agree on how you feel about Anonymous. They just come out as annoying attention whores who feel like they matter for being apart of the greatest movement in human history.

The whole "ZOMG we're not a group, we are an IDEOLOGY!!!" thing is cute and funny.

On a totally unrelated note, this 1988 Lord of the Rings game is fairly faithful...Well, the grounds for it are.
