The First 100 pages.
Sat Apr 24, 2010 9:01 pm
The King would be sitting down on his mighty gold throne inside his large castle. He looked on excitedly as his court mage was sitting there with the book of forbidden techniques reading down on how they could bring the strongest warriors from other universes to here. For an evil taking over this universe slowly, but surely and he needed a way to stop them, but no one in his universe was powerful enough to.
The mage was finally done reading and performed the chant in which opened up a giant black hole in the ceiling of the throne room. As it opened up the heroes on the other side of the black hole where being sucked straight into a small black hole that appeared under them.
As this hole sucked up the heroes they were shot out and slammed down into the floor below them. Once they hit they were probably in for a suprise.
_______________________________________________________________
The Fullmetal Alchemist saw the floor coming flying towards him at an alarming rate. His facial expression changed from emotionless to one of suprise and worry as he slammed straight face first into the hard tiled floor below him.
" What the hell! " Edward said in anger and suprise as he hit the floor, which defiantly wasn't their before.
He looked up from where he was now lying to see that something was a miss. This world looked completely different then what he was in before. It seemed like it was in a watercolor painting. He then looked at himself who was still in the same style he was before. His eyes widen, this wasn't the first time something really weird had happened, but it defiantly wasn't ever this bad as he seemed to be animated in a painting world. He then though to himself what the hell how do I know that I am animated., he looked at the King, how did he know this man was the king, what is going on here, to see if he had any imput on the subject.
( You will know you are stylized differently and that he is the King. Will explain later. )

Alucard walked through the night, a pale moon shining before him. Castle Dracula lied up the mountain on the path ahead, waiting for him to enter. Today he would attack the castle and destroy his father, Dracula, so that his plans were not accomplished. If Dracula succeeded, the rule of the world would likely be his.
"This ends tonight," Alucard said to himself quietly, picking up his pace. Trees whipped by him as he slowly started to accelerate towards the gate. The gate was open for him to enter, almost a little too welcoming. As he got closer, the gate started to rise. It was being closed! He had to make haste.
He ran as fast as possible towards the castle. Alucard would have to jump to make it. He leapt off the edge of the moat, his jump perfect, but suddenly everything went black. Alucard opened his eyes to find himself floating in the midst of strange images until finally, it cleared. He was somewhere else now, almost as if he was teleported away.
"What magic is this?" he said to himself. Alucard looked around to find himself in a strange world. He looked around to see some sort of throne room, but something wasn't right. He looked across the room to see a person that almost looked like a colored drawing of some sort.
"Im-impossible," he stuttered. Where was he? Was this some sort of trick formulated by his father? It couldn't be. This was different. It was almost as if he was in another world. He looked up at the throne to see a kingly looking figure standing there, looking a little too delighted.
"What is the meaning of this?" Alucard asked, masking his slight anger. "What is going on?"

Yoshiro stood alone in the forests off of the 78th District of Rukongai. A chill wind caught his black kimono, the Shihakusho.. garb of the dead. A single hand, only visible by the slivers of moonlight that escaped through the branches and leaves from the tress, went toward the hilt of his katana, the zanpakuto named "Shiroikami". Marred from the blackness of the night, a figure rustled among the trees. The quiet nights sounds were quickly ended by a shrill roar.
A Hollow, essentially a lost soul turned mad, is indeed a hideous apparition that any Shinigami must face in battle. In fact, that is their primary duty, alongside escorting the souls of the dearly departed to the Soul Society. The roar that night in the forest came from a Hollow, a specific type that Yoshiro himself was hunting. Although he was a man among ten of the most powerful people in the entire realm, he never stopped the original job he was given.
His zanpakuto flashed from his dark blue sheath in an arc of silver. The blade shimmered with a deathly glow as he held it in a fighting stance. The Hollow roared again, and with jutting claw like arms, he lunged forward without thought nor logic, rather through pure instinct. Just as Yoshiro raised his blade, and his powerful reiatsu, or spiritual pressure, burst forth, he found that all went black before him, and the trees high above... slowly rose. A blinding light came over him, and all senses failed.
____________
His body hit a hard surface, most likely tile. As he opened his eyes, only moments after falling, he grunted. He had never fallen in such a way in his entire life... and that was a very long time. Being a spirit, he never thought that falling like that would take him that much by surprise, but it seemed that he was. He stood up and dusted off his Shikakusho and made sure his zanpakuto was still there. It was, thankfully.
Yoshiro gazed around him, stunned by where he was. High vaulted ceilings, marble stonework, cathedral-esque stained glass windows. And before him, a high throne of elegant workmanship. A man, no doubt the leader of some realm, just judging by his garb, sat upon this throne with the obvious air of regality.
"I don't think this is the Soul Society..." Yoshiro said simply.

The king would just smile to the people who were there. Only three, but they seemed to be the three that he would need. This was something that would help their universe, so he couldn't be more excited. So he yelled out to them in a booming tone of voice.
" I need your help, our world is in peril and none of us are strong enough so we gathered you to come here. Different worlds that may look completely different, but you are the ones who will be able to save this world! "

Alucard looked at the king with a frustrated look. This was all wrong. He couldn't help at a time like this. His world was at stake right now with Dracula in power so he had to return now. Alucard sighed. It was not possible, though. This king brought him here and was probably the only way to get him out of here as well. This was quite irritating.
"Very well, then," Alucard answered the King calmly. "What is it that threatens your domain?"

Degtyarev crept through the tall grass, his F2000 in hand. Beyond him a few bandits seem to be in a battle for life against a bloodsucker, a ruthless, evil being. Some say they are the root of all evil, the purest demon's in human bodies, distorted and mutated by radiation. The Rat-ta-ta-ta-tat of an MP5, as well as the Tack-Tack of a PMm, and the Ka-CHU of a sawn-off shotgun filled the previously quiet day, as the ferocious roar of the bloodsucker threatened to take all of their lives. Peaking through the grass, he noticed the beast slash a hand across the man with the PMm; looking on in horror as he fired his last shots as his body fell to the ground, the claws nearly severing the whole head into pieces.
The other two fought on, now yelling curses and slurs at the bloodsucker, only for one of them to be ambushed from behind as the beast turned invisible - in seconds the man was devoid of blood, dropping pale and lifeless, the man's final round in his MP5 going off. Panicking, the final bandit quickly reloaded, blasting away, yet not for long. The two shells ejected quickly, only to catch air and grass - it seemed this man was doomed as the demon came to face the survivor. Out of virtue and kindness, Degtyarev took aim - alarming the beast.
He could see the small, black eyes stare into his soul with a mixture of misery and pure hatred for all that moved. and with a pull of the trigger, the Bloodsucker met his demise with a horrible roar as the bullets penetrated. The bandit that nearly died at the hands of the beast rambled on, offering as much as services to the Major. With one swift movement, the Major grabbed the bandit by the collar of his shirt and jacket, "I grant you the right to live only once, and may the zone take you as it pleases. If I ever see you again, pray to the monolith I will see you in a Stalker Suit or Loner outfit. If I see you again in a bandit jacket, I will not hesitate to fill you and your scum with lead. Now scram, before I have a change of heart." the Bandit, scared by the the revelation, took the weapons and supplies of his comrades and split for Shadovsk, the same place he was going to go, oddly enough. Luckily for the bandit, if he saw him inside Shadovsk, the Barmen would probably lock him out if he shot the bandit.
Looking out over the grass, hills, and swamp, he noticed night fast approaching, and behind him a few stalkers raced for the safety of the Stalker camp; it was general rule of thumb in the zone that if you weren't somewhere safe, like a stalker camp like Shadovsk, you were sure to die at the hands of more experienced, hungry predators, like the Chimera. Luckily, he wasn't to far from the tanker - it only being in viewing distance, but even then, he couldn't slack off either. He did have a great suit and weapon, but no amount of armor or weapons could prepare a man for the horrors of a night in the zone.
Jogging to reach the tanker, and a safe bed, he got close to tanker, smelling the tender bread and delicious Vodka, mixed with sweat and corroding steel. He approached the ship, the chirps of insects, howl of distant mutants, and gunshots turning the night into a terror even for those inside. He was mere centimeters from the door when he was engulfed in black, had he been tricked? Was this some sort of anomaly? Had Shadovsk lost power? It was to dark, it was pitch black to -
----------------------------
Before he could react, his face came in contact with a stone-cold floor, covered by a sort of red fabric. Ow was all he could think, moaning as he got to his feet. He felt like he was in a realistic drawing of sorts, as he and the others that accompanied him all looked as if from different styles of people. He looked at the architecture, closely resembling that of a castle, and before him and these other men he noticed The King. How did he know him? He had no relation with him, or even know of his existence, yet he seemed to know him as if he had met him before. Before him, different people looked around, in mostly the same fashion of confusion and anger.
crossing his arms, he asked "What's the meaning of this? I had a safe bed in the middle of Shadovsk waiting for me as well a fresh meal." his main concern was food and sleep, as he had already fulfilled his exploration desires in the day, only to be repeated tommorrow. Hopefully they'd give him a decent meal, warm bed, and explanation.

Yoshiro took longer to answer the King as he stood. He looked around at the throne room that he stood in, and gritted his teeth. He had responsibilities to those back in the Soul Society, and those in the World of the Living... he was in neither. He a quick movement, he unsheathed his zanpakuto, its glimmering blade arching through the air. Pointing it directly out from him, he closed his eyes. For a second or two, a small white portal, possibly large enough to fit a hand through, was created, but faded quickly. With shock, Yoshiro wondered:
"I am trapped here... I can't even summon the Senkaimon (outer world portal) to get back to the Soul Society." Yoshiro said.
Looking to the King, he advanced, his blade outstretched menacingly. His reiatsu (Spiritual Pressure) grew enough to alarm those around him with its extremely heavy feeling.
"I want answers, where are we, and why call on us to help you. What of your armies!?" Yoshiro yelled angrily.

The King's face had a serious look to it now. This was something he did not like to admit, but he would have to to gain their trust. So with a long sigh he looked at them with a dreadful face.
"My army was destroyed, by the dark lords. They were more powerful then I could have imaged, but there they were. Killing everyone of my soldiers so I called you to see if you could help my world. You are my last hope....."

Degtyarev stared awkwardly at the man's face. How could something that destroys armies honestly be stopped by a rag-tag team of 5 or 6 people from other universes? "Well, I sincerely speak for all of us when I say we're sorry that your men have died, but how could something that destroyed your army be defeated by 6 people from different Universes? Not to say, from the look of these men, that we couldn't handle it, I just don't get it." He normally wasn't this inquisitive, but he never knew of a time when being tossed into another dimension was commonplace either, so he guessed he had every right to question just what was going on.

As Yoshiro thought about his predicament that he had been placed into, he sighed. His resolution was that he was unable to go home until they defeated this "army". Sheathing his blade, he gave the king a stern look. He suddenly bowed slightly before him, obviously in respect. With a cold voice, he addressed the matter.
"My name is Yoshiro Mototori.. I am the Captain of the 5th Squad of Gotei 13 (13 Court Guard Divisions). There is no enemy that I haven't been able to slay, I will fight with you... but I will have you return me to my world by the end of this war." Yoshiro said.

Those Dark Lords that the King was talking about seemed to be a force to reckon with to Alucard, as they were apparently able to destroy entire armies. He did not like being forced into an unknown conflict, but it appeared he had little to no choice. He would have to submit for now. Alucard looked up at the King.
"I will aid you in this fight as long as you promise to return me to my land once this is over with," he said. "I have certain...matters to attend to, so returning is very important. I will do my best to help on that promise."
