Daisuke Katsuo

Name: Daisuke Katsuo

Appearance: Clean shaven with a ponytail and an eye patch with a scar running under it. He wears a dark green kimono.
Personality: Normally, Daisuke is very calm and collected, though he is very prideful, especially of his status as a samurai.
History: Daisuke had a peaceful childhood. However, it was all gone in one day when his family was slain by bandits. Before the bandits killed him, he was saved by a samurai, and he came to view samurai in very high regard for this. The samurai took him in and taught him swordsmanship, which he excelled in, but his master was fearful for Daisuke's pride and zeal. During the Revolution, Daisuke and his master fought for the Shogunate. After the Revolution, his master's fears were confirmed when he began to talk of overthrowing the Meiji, to create a world ruled by warriors. When his master didn't support him, Daisuke dueled him, and lost his eye, but took his master's life. Since then, Daisuke has raised an army to fulfill his dream.
Weapon: A katana and a wakizashi.
Fighting Style: Ni To Katsuo-Ryu. The original Ni To Ichi-Ryu, combined with some techniques of Daisuke's own creation.

The first member of the Tenken Clan, Onibasu!

Name: Manami Kobayashi (Onibasu)
Gender: Female
Age: 22
Appearance: Long dark hair and dark eyes. She wears light shinobi garments.
Personality: Onibasu is often very serious and bitter, never showing a softer side.
History: Manami had a cheerful childhood for the first decade of her life. However, when she was 11, her parents were killed by the Ishin Shishi. She was adopted by the Orochi ninja clan, and they quickly became her new family, helping her to forget her sorrow while also training her in the ninja arts. However, they, too, fell to the Imperialists, and the last few fell helping her escape. Her sorrow was brought back, and the sorrow quickly turned to hatred. She spent her life training, gathering other Shinobi to create the mercenary group the Kagede Ittai at the age of 19. Eventually, she was found by Daisuke Katsuo, a man who, if not for the same reasons, shared her hatred for the Meiji government. She followed him unquestioningly, believing he was the man who would bring her her revenge.
Weapon: A single kodachi and some kunai.
Fighting Style: Orochi Kodachi Itto-ryu. Using the kodachi for quick attacks, the style is largely counter-attacks and dealing many quick strikes in a short amount of time.

The fistfighter of the Tenken Clan.

Name: Shougo Sawamura (Sainan)
Gender: Male
Age: 21
Appearance: Messy short hair and brown eyes. He wears a sleeveless shirt and a long coat, and is covered in scars.
Personality: Shougo appears foolish or lighthearted to some, but it covers a part of him that is filled with hatred, especially for those who abuse the weak.
History: Shougo grew up in a small orphanage. Though he was an orphan, his life was not lonely. He had many friends, particularly a kind but sickly girl named Rina. However, during the Bakumatsu, his village was attacked by a particularly brutal force of the Ishin Shishi for its support of the Shogunate. The attack was merciless, razing all the buildings with no intention of leaving anyone alive. Shougo managed to escape with Rina, and was covered in lacerations and other injuries from protecting her. After he was treated, Shougo found that Rina's health had gotten worse. He became a street fighter to support her and himself, and polished his strength to its peak.
Weapon: None.
Fighting Style: Akuma Kobushi-ryu. Shougo's “Devil Fist” is a self-created fist-fighting style. Simple but effective, it is composed mostly of brute force, able to break through even the defense of some weapons.
