Hiraku Raiden
Fri Mar 05, 2010 6:13 pm
Name: Hiraku Raiden
Gender: Male
Age: 32
Appearance: Hiraku is a bit short with messy hair held back in a ponytail, a mustache, a scar crossing down his face from his left brow to his right cheek, and a headband. He wears a tan-white hakama and a blue haori.
Personality: Normally, Hiraku is rather carefree and relaxed. However, justice is important to him. Though he fought the Shinsengumi during the revolution, he has always believed their maxim, Aku Soku San (Slay Evil Immediately).
History: Hiraku's father was a respected samurai, and he worked to follow in his father's footsteps. When the Meiji Restoration began, Hiraku was originally neutral. However, one day, his entire family, including his young sister, were arrested for supposed opposition to the Shogunate. When Hiraku heard news they were executed, he was outraged and joined the Imperialists. In the decade since the war, Hiraku has spent his time as a wandering ronin, fighting injustice wherever he sees it.
Weapon: A standard katana.
Fighting Style: Raiden Inabikari-ryu. Hiraku's family style places emphasis on speed, particularly battoujutsu. It also puts some focus in thrusting techniques.

Hey hey, another Aku Soku Zan follower..
And btw, if the Shogunate arrested your family, why in the world did you join the Imperialists? Wouldn't you join the Revolutionaries instead... or do I (for once) have my history screwed up???
