Geography: Guylos is a land of great rolling plains, high cliffs, and to the north, a range of high peaks. The land is fertile enough for agriculture, the mountains boast a plethora of wildlife, and even the town of Pletgrad. The capital of Guylos is Hamberg, which is found along the eastern coast. The cities of Shtutgart and Wroth are found in the very west, and center of the island.


Location: Guylos is located on the south-eastern island in Ryerdae.


Architecture: The architecture of Guylos is similar to that of most other coastline civilizations, although it does change to a more log-cabin like appearance once you delve inland into Guylos. Most homes have wood siding, light in color and from the trees of the southern forests. The roofs are of a tile, mostly slate, and colored in a lighter hue. The homes and businesses are small, literally, due to the stature of the Guylosian race. Accommodations are there for foreigners at the major hotels and lodging.


Past History: Throughout the history of Ryerdae, Guylos seems to have been the nation who took the brunt of many wars and feuds. From RFA 380-410, Guylos was in constant battle with the Imperials. During those years, much of Guylos was burnt to the ground, namely in the First Temperian Crusade. Rebuilding was slow as well, thanks to the mass amounts of death that continued to pile up as the wars went on.

Currently, Guylos could be considered one of the safest nations of them all. They institute a nations police force, and a nation military. The only threat that could be considered, would be the clans of Orcs that reside in the northern mountains of Guylos. For now, the Guylosian military has kept the waiting enemy at bay.
