The Sith Lord's Malice: Klatooine

Through the windows of the bridge, Bain watched the stars go by in an endless rain. His face was shrouded with shadow, and he stood quite still. He seemed to be as a stalwart statue is before a temple, unmoving and mysterious. His own men looked at him with wonder and awe, the man leading them was a calm man, quite contrary to how the Sith usually were. His own charisma and ambitions seemed to flood to them. Without order, they would do their job as if their life depended on it, yet would gladly be ordered and act the same. They did not only fear Bain, but greatly respected him.

After a hour had passed, it was as though a timer went off with Bain. He moved abruptly from his spot and lowered his hood. In one hand he held his mask, which he always wore into battle. His short jet-black hair shone dark against the gray walls of the interior. His golden eyes darted from man to man. With a cold, deep voice, Bain looked to the pilots.

"Prepare the ship to exit hyperspace and into the Si'Klaata Cluster. We will be at Klatooine within ten minutes."

The pilots merely nodded, many were used to Bain's cold and rather menacing demeanor before a battle. The ship exited hyperspace with a roar. The stars slowed down and stood before them, thousand of miles away, however, only a couple of miles before them, lay the desert planet that they were to attempt to invade. They couldn't lose, Lord Bain was with them, as most of the soldiers felt. They had seen him in battle, and were faithful that no soldier on the entire planet would be able to combat him without being charred to dust.

Bain stood before his troops. His mask was now on, as well as the dark hood now marring him in darkness. All that shone through his hood, were the slight glimmers of his eyes. His voice was clearly audible, as cold and frightening as ever, however his words only brought the excitement into his troops, and the great will to fight.. and to always win. He spoke with them only briefly, as he usually did unless the war was unusually large. A voice, that of the pilot, came onto the intercom, sounding through the entire ship.

"Attention all personnel, we will be landing on the surface of Klatooine at oh seven hundred, I repeat, oh-seven hundred.. that is two minutes, please prepare yourselves for landing and docking."

At that, the intercom went offline and the ship was physically felt descending through the planets atmosphere. Every soldier donned their helmets and armed themselves with their weapons of choice. Those of the tank corps ran to their vehicles and jumped in, the crew readied themselves for advancing from the ship. A sudden rumble was heard, and the ship stopped moving. A shout was heard from a commanding officer, which resounded from all the other commanders. All troops turned and faced the ramp which was still lifted as the floor. However, a hiss was heard as the giant door started to lower down as the ramp. A rush of air swept past the unmoving black-armored Sithtroopers. Temperature control was now used by almost everyone there, as they were very hot.

Through the steam in the ramp and the opening doors, the visible sand and landscape slowly came into view. The ramp was soon fully lowered, and all troops stood and awaited Bain's command. Bain himself stood at the forefront of all his troops, facing out of the door. He, alone, walked down the long ramp and planted his boots into the sand. His black cloak behind him flapped in the wind and dust. Before him lay a vast city in an oasis. They expected nothing, however their local guard had by now contacted the Imperial guard who was stationed on the planet. Battle now lay ahead, and a large one at that. Bain lifted a hand into the air, getting the attention of all his troops who still stood above, which one movement, he aimed a finger at the city, a horrifying grin swept across his face beneath his dreadful mask. And, in such a yell that could be heard by all his soldiers, he said:

"Now is the time for retribution, of purification, advance, Sith!"

At his command, the ten thousand men marched from the Galaxy Destroyer and past Bain himself. They split into three, and further into ten Companies. The city, and soon the planet, would be under the long reaching grasp of the True Sith.

Thus Begins the Invaion of Klatooine

Lazzaro and his crew put on their armor and set out for the tank. upon arrival they did a final inspection then got into their seats awaiting for the battle to commence.
In the back were a field enginner and another soldier who is supposed to cover him if damage was taken during the battle. up above the crews gunner swerved the turrent to make sure it was oiled, the co-pilot was holding a charm on the end of a chain around his neck and mutterd somthing to himself. Lazzaro himself didnt have some sort of before battle luck thing, what will happen that day will happen so he has leared to know that and get used to it. The co-pilot then pointed as the tanks began to move out, the tanks moved forward and spread out into a line formation in the back of the soldiers. They could hear Bains short speach, and with that the men moved toward the city, the soldiers could see town guards and behind them imperialists moveing into position. "Alright men, this is prepare yourselves. keep calm and we'll get through this" Lazzaro said although he knew they were not worried but honored to serve the True sith. He primed the missile pods in the back, and what was perfect timing all the tanks had fired a pod round of five into the imperial defences, then began to fire the cannons as the battle truely started.

[i]The Reckoning sat atop the grand platform, Hood inside. He had known he felt it in the force. Bain was up to something. Day had to turned to night, and night to morning. He and his men were prepared, his destination he wasn't sure, but he thought he felt a huge presence saying, Klatooine. So his men would have to trust him as they flew in.

The birds flew up, and out of the clouds. They set they're coordinates to Klatooine, and the jump proceeded. No doubt was spread within his ship. His men knew, and understood, Hood would lead them to Glory.

The stars slowed down, and the jump ended. There were no ships in sight, Hood ordered his men to circle around the planet. He found the True Sith Vessels and was ready to land. Three Dark Triangular figures jumped into the location- Imperial Star Destroyers.
"Men Prepare for battle!" Hood ordered.

Tie Fighters, and Tie Interceptors spewed out of the ships. They looked like flies pouring out of a carcaus. Hood's men broke formation, he'd need to stop the Imperial Reinforcements. But Hood knew he himself must get to the planet.

"Yvetch, land us at these coordinates." Hood knew they'd take him to Bain, he felt it. Hood needed to reunite with his brother Bain. He must be sure his brother would fight for the same cause, or at least the enemy together. Hood's quest had just begun.

Hood could feel the ship jerk around as it turned to the planet. Entering the atmosphere gave him a quesy feeling. Hood donned his armor, and jumped out of his ship, saber at the ready. He and his men sliced through imperial troops.

"Why hello there Bain." Hood smiled at his brother. He and his men disignited their sabers.
"Not expecting to see me.. little brother."

Without looking back to his brother, his hooded head looked to the sky for a brief moment. The surprise of hearing his brothers voice, this soon, made him very glad. Looking still away to his troops advancing, and his tank corps already barraging the Imperial held city, he started to speak, in his same deep voice.

"Hood, it is good to hear your voice... I had a feeling you were still alive. I am sorry I didn't run after you, I thought maybe.. you had things you had to do. I will admit I am surprised, I didn't expect you to show yourself to this world just yet."

Bain moved his hands out to his sides. Using the force, his sabers went flying by the Force from his belt and into his clutches. Both ignited to light, one burning a brilliant red, the other a menacing black. Both handles shined platinum in his dark hands. He gave a nod to Hood, still not turning to look to him.

"Unfortunately, I did not bring any of my pilots with my fleet, nor any starfighters. Will you be able to provide my army some air support, brother?"

At that Bain turned around. His eyes could even show his excitement. It was hard to tell whether it stemmed from battle or his brother, but either way, Bain was anticipating something. With that, he turned and started to fly through the field on his feet, faster than any other. He appeared to the enemies as a dark wraith, a spectral being ready to swallow them up, condemning them to everlasting obscurity. The battle had truly begun at that moment. The arrival of the allies, long missed. The first contact of ground forces within the city. The Aeriel barrage that occurred high above in the sky. Though the balance would not be tipped, nor the sides switched due to this one battle... it would be enough to gain the eye of the Empire once more, onto the True Sith and the "fallen" Dread Sith Lord, Darth Bain.

Lazzaro searched for targets as the tank line moved forward. He swerved the massive tank to the side to avoid incomeing AT fire "Gunner see if you can hit those things!" He yelled over the sounds of war "Yes Sir!" the gunner called back aiming and firing a beam which nearly missed the enemy weapon.
" Allies have landed, were not fighting this alone" a voice went over the tanks radio His crew smiled but it was unnoticable under their helemts and didnt last long. "Incoming!"
The gunner called out as a missle came streaming at them. Lazzaro again turned out of the way of the explosive and fired his cannons at the source. A high intensity bean came from a enemy position and struck the tank, luckily the armor reflected most the damage but left the left cannon damaged. "engineer your up, left cannons out! gunner give him some cover!" Lazzaro yelled to his field crew. The engineer and the soldier left the tank and held up near the front, the soldier began to shoot out into the enemies postiton as the engineer fixed the cannon. Lazzaro launched another missle to keep the enemys soldiers down, but the shots still kept coming and almost hit the soldier. "This is tank 4077 requesting some cover" Lazzaro called in over the radio. "Roger that 4077, were coming" Responed by another tank captain as his tank manuverd infrton of his own and laid down some fire. The engineer was about to finish when a stray shot hit him, he collapsed presumaly dead. "dammit" Lazzaro said motioning for the Co-pilot to take over as he exited though a hatch. He got down and checked the engineer "We need a medic!" He called then crawled up and began to finish the repairs himself.

Lazzaro had finished up the repair as the engineer had been carried away by a medic. A replacement for him had already come and saluted Lazzaro "ready for duty Sir" the replacment engineer said. "Alright just hop in the back" Lazzaro responded then got in and drove towards the fight.
They had drove into the begining of a street and slowly moved forward towards the front. Lazzaro never did like a city fight, to hard for a tank with the possibility of ambushes and collapsing buildings. "Whatch out!" the Co-pilot yelled. Lazzaro swerved hard out of the way and avoided the missle but smacked right into the side of the building causing him to hit his helmet on the side of the tank and had almost crushed a soldier "Dammit sorry!" He called out of the tank hatch then moved forward. He had begun to fire the cannons taking out the enemys dug in positions. After a few shots he saw as a AT round hit a building and caused it to collaps on a nearby tank crushing and traping the crew inside. Lazzaro moved into a large alley making sure it was out of reach and sight of the enemys guns. "C'mon we gotta help our comrades" He said as he led his crew to the trapped tank.
When he got there he noticed the gunner had been killed and the hatch crushed "Hello!" He tried to call in to the tank and tried again over the radio. He could hear there faint crys for help and the useless pounding from the crew inside, and also he noticed the tanks engine had started to smoke which also ment it counld catch fire if it was damaged enough. He had taken the repair tools from his bag and attempted to try to cut through to the crew. "Engineer quick get a cutting tool from a supply truck!" Lazzaro yelled over the constent sound of exploding rounds. "Yes Sir" the engineer yelled running off.
By the time he got back flames could be seen from the engine. "hurry!" Lazzaro said as they began to cut open into the tanks hull. only a little time past since they started but he knew the engine could explode at any second, but finaly they had cut through the tanks armor.His crew began to pull the half living bodies from the burning wrek, Lazzaro grabed the had of the other tanks captain and hauled him
out and slung him on his shoulder "Lets go!" He said as his crew pulled the others out and began to carry them to a safer spot. The nearest aid station was across the street, and the street was under constant fire. Anyone in his crew not holding wounded was holding a gun, and some of the nearby soldiers had started to cover them as the made there way across the street towards the cover of a building.
Around half way there Lazzaro was hit in the leg and droped to the ground, He coverd the other wounded captain as he crawled and pulled him behind some rubble. Lazzaros crew got to cover and turned for their captain "just get the others to the medics!" Lazzaro yelled to his crew as held his leg and attempted to fire at the ememy with his carbine.

Bain sliced through another Stromtrooper easily with a single slash. His Black Lightning still flashed in another hand, pulsing rapidly, as if it had a life of its own. A yell came from his side, which came from another enemy who held a Vibroblade. Bain stood quite still and blocked the blows from the enemy with a bored look upon his face. He started to grow weary of the fight, so he deemed to finish it up. With monstrous strength, Bain punched a clenched fist into the Stromtroops. The armor shattered against the blow, ribs could be heard snapping. The lone troopers gave a piercing cry as a bolt of Black Lightning shot into him and out through his back.

Bain grinned and yanked his fist from the broken armor of the trooper. As he stood alone in an alleyway, his shadows seemed to dance wildly against the walls of the buildings. He suddenly felt the force shift slightly, although it was neither in a good way or bad. Bain looked to the sky, almost as if in a daydream. His com-link beeped before coming online. Hoods words came through to him, there were of concern and puzzlement.

"Brother... what happened?" Bain asked as he wiped the charred flesh from his hand.
