Personality| Kratos is proud, brave, and loyal to any allies he may have. However, due to his.. contrastive upbringing, he was more or less shunned from much of society, aside from his own family and close family friends. Even with all of this negative attitude toward him, Kratos did manage to become quite a gentleman when it came to women.

History| Kratos was born in Sparta. From birth, he was seen as different from all others, because he showed great strength.. strength that a mortal man would never have. Because of this, he was seen as a hindrance to society, and thus shunned. This forced his family to move to the outskirts of Sparta, although they would soon see this change as a good thing. As he grew older, Kratos was still seen as a shunned man, contrary to the brilliant feat he preformed for the people of the city, and was banned from joining the military at age six. Kratos rose above the occasion and proved his worth.

By the age of thirteen, Kratos found himself abnormally proficient with any weapon of war, and his strength seemed to rival that of the strongest Spartans. He was still growing, and yet he was changing so rapidly. During a civil revolt on the outskirts of Sparta, Kratos joined the cities soldiers to beat back the rebels without being asked. His strength and great power with the Spartan weapons amazed the soldiers, and they soon befriended Kratos. After so many years of being shunned, it took one event to give Kratos the status of a local hero. He was praised by most, although some still looked to him with disdain. He was allowed into the military at once, and forwent all training on the premises that he could do it all easily.

He currently serves in the Spartan army as a Phalanx leader. He found, by the age of twenty, that by looking into the family line, he was the son of Ares, which of course explained his now god-like strength, agility, endurance, and proficiency with weapons of all kinds. In Sparta, Kratos is now hailed as a demigod.
