Vlad got back to his feet. His ankle killed due to its sprain, but he seemed to get passed the pain. Three more Skeleton Knights still stood, looking for their own prey. Vlad smirked and started to walk toward them, although with a slight limp. He slung his Lancer to his shoulder and fished two Silver Makarovs from his belt. He twirled both carelessly on his fingers and then set them straight. Both were already loaded and ready to blow.
At once, ignoring the pain, Vlad sprinted directly toward them. They targeted himself as well, as they charged right back. Lifting both of his Makarovs, he fired one after the other in rapid succession. The shots filled the air, the dark night slightly illuminated by the muzzle flashes. Most of the shots connected on the three beasts, some didn't. They sent the three skeletons back a ways; one fell to their death as a bullet went through an eye socket and blasted out the back of the skull. Just as he neared the second, and the first started to go down, Vlad unsheathed his Kukri with such speed. Just as he was directly in front of the second of the Skeleton Knights, Vlad hooked the curved blade around the neck bone of the beast.
He let the momentum take him as he sprinted. The Kukri sliced cleanly through the neck bone of the Skeleton, lopping the skull off and sending it flying into the air. Vlad surprisingly caught the skull in a hand and chuckled. The headless Skeleton wobbled to and fro behind him. Winding up like a pitcher at the mound, he hurled the skull into the monsters legs, sending him off balance and onto the ground. Vlad, still chuckling took a Makarov to the beheaded Skeleton and shot it several times through vital spot. The last stood only feet away.
As if in slow motion, Vlad holstered his two Makarovs and sheathed the Kukri. From his back, he un-slung his PPSh-41 Sub-machine Gun. The drum clip was already ready and loaded, all he had to do was squeeze the trigger... and that he did. The roar of the high rate of fire and the max-velocity hollow point bullets pierced the air once again. By the time Vlad let go of the trigger.. half a clip later, the Skeleton was as swiss cheese. Hole perforated every surface of the demons body. The Skeleton fell back and onto the dirt ground with a dull thud.
"The baddies are dead now." Vlad called out with some hint of dark humor.

Carlos smiled and shouldered his crossbow as the last large revenant fell. The other small revenants, now afraid, went back underground where they belonged. The whole area was now as deathly quiet as it used to be. They had accomplished defeating those monstrosities. It would be a while before they even thought about coming back here. Carlos looked around the area. There were piles of bones all over the place. This would certainly be a sight for some passing travelers. His temporary teammates were all very injured and some were either passed out or panting from their injuries.
"It seems this battle has left us all a little wounded," Carlos said to them with a grin. He himself had a few broken ribs that would need to be tended to. He knew just the place to go.
"I have a proposition for you all," Carlos said to them. "I will take you all to a place where we can all heal for no cost at all. It is named, 'The Cathedral.' There is a friend I have there who will help us out. In payment, you will all have to listen to what I have to say afterwards, which could change your very lives."
He looked around to see a few accepting nods. Who wouldn't take free health care?
"Come then. We will begin our travels to the center of Transylvania in a town named Tuefelsdorf."
Carlos sheathed his sword and shouldered his crossbow. This would likely be the start of them doing business with each other. He would take them to the Cathedral, his main headquarters for the Dark Symphony. There he would offer them his best hospitality and try to recruit them to his team...
((OOC: This is finally the end of the prologue! *applause and cheering* I will be starting the first chapter soon, so be patient! The fun is just about to begin...))
