Usable Weapons

These are all the weapons that are commonly used in the game...

The Rifle: There are a variety of rifles in the land but the most common is the musket because of it's mass production. It is a very inaccurate and slow weapon, but it is strong and cheap. Recently, rifles that can fire multiple bullets before reloading have been invented and are becoming popularized. They are called breech-loaders. They are more accurate and more powerful, though they are quite expensive.

The Shotgun: Shotguns are a very popular weapon among the Temptans. There are currently single and double barrel shotguns that are very reliable and strong, though they are almost useless at long range.

The Pistol: There are a few different types of pistols. Flintlocks are the most common, but, like the musket, they are slow and inaccurate. However, newly developed revolvers are now available. They hold six shots and can shoot and reload quicker than anything anyone has seen before! They are likely the most reliable weapon in the land.

The Bow: Bows are still being used by many inhabitants in the land. They are preffered by the Greenwoldans and the Wyrlans for the nice fire rate, long range, and quietness. There are many different types of bows, such as short bows and long bows, but most are custom made.

The Crossbow: Crossbows are a rare weapon in the land. They are slow, but they have incredible power. If you are hit by one of the bolts, it will rip through you. Not many people use them, but it is said that the Temptans are developing a new type of crossbow that can fire multiple bolts before reloading. Only time will tell if that becomes a reality.

Melee Weapons: Almost everyone in the land has a melee weapon by their side to fight at close quarters. There are swords, axes, tomahawks, and anything you can think of (this is a pretty broad weapon subject, so you can basically use anything you can find).

Others: You can add any other weapons you want that don't fit in the other categories, but make sure they are things that would exist in the 1800's. I will look over these weapons to make sure they are fitting to the setting.

Mounted Weapons: These are all of the weapons that are mounted on wheels to roll around because they weigh so much. They consist of cannons and machine guns. Cannons in this time period are slow to load, but they are very powerful and can tear building and men down with careful shots. Machine guns are used by turning a crank to feed ammo to the gun, which fires volleys of bullets at the desired target, though it can overheat and has terrible accuracy.
