Appearance: He wears a light tan colored shirt and has normal slack. He always has a dark green hooded cloak over it. He has raven black hair that is about shoulder length and has a gaunt face.

Personality: He is a very kind and reserved person that is willing to help anyone in need and has a very calm attitude most of the time. He is quick at making friends and alliances and is a fairly intelligent person.

History: Ephraim was born in a middle class military family in Breldan. His family traveled a lot of the time and usually was never able to make friends, so he became very lonely and reserved over time. However, his father taught him how to use the bow and sword alike in their years of traveling and by the time he was ready to join the army, Ephraim had a head start because of his skills. He spent a lot of time in combat and eventually devoted his life to the military. He was well respected for his skills and gained a nice position as a captain eventually. Then, at a time when Ephraim thought life couldn't get any better, he was struck with a strange disease (tuberculosis) that took a toll on him. The healers were boggled on what the problem was and couldn't find out how to cure it. They would likely find a cure in a while, but Ephraim knew that it would probably be too late by then. The disease made Ephraim sick looking all of the time and he coughed up blood on occasion. Luckily because he is an elf, the disease didn't affect him as much, but it definitely wore him down. Ephraim hopes to get a cure before the disease gets to its potential and really strikes him down...

Weapons: He has a Clavile Longbow and a short sword.

Armor: He wears light leather armor with a green cloak over it.

Equipment: He has a pack full of medical supplies to deal with his disease and firemaking tools.

Alignment: Nuetral Good.

Soul Element: Air. He is not the best at using it, but he can use it to maneuver his arrows towards his targets.

Company: He works in espionage missions and other things by himself usually, but he is of high enough command to order an army if the need arises.

Just so you know most teachers are like old (300-450 years old), promoting through the Mages Guild is faster after you become a Mage but he wouldn't be higher then Mage for a few years, by now he would probably be either Staff Warrior or Spell Caster (the next rank after Mage would be Arcane Mage and these two come after that).

As for his history, I like the whole ''He's dieing and he needs to find a cure but in the meantime he'll help as much as he can'' but unfortunately being a Magi in Umpria means he would be cured by Guild Healers in short time. however if it was an unknown disease then things would probably be different.

If the disease part sounds unrealistic, I think I'll just change him to an archer or something. I'll make changes soon.

By the time he's a captain he will probably have a Clavile Longbow, so you might want to add that in there. Also, you might want to state how much he's mastered his Soul Element. Other then that he looks good
