Raising his head in praise, the guard smiled proudly. Standing up straight, he clapped in response to general Aion's informal gesture towards the king. It was definately funny and they were having a good time with this. "I have faith in your plan, general Aion. You definately have my support. Some of the other royal guards feel the same, they know who Shenrai really is. However there are some that are true to him. It won't be easy but I think that this will work out."

Aion nodded. He knew that there was a large risk to all of this, but it was the only way to bring true peace back to the Earth Kingdom.
"Great, then here is the immediate objective for us. Since right now, we are the only two who are in the new and improved Dai Li... we will need to recruit more members. A full force of Dai Li, so about twenty five to fifty would be great. When all members are collected, inform me by all of us meeting here at this spot again. We will attack the next morning upon the suns rising."

The night was long, so it seemed. Roaming the castle to a few other royal guards, the soldier had spread the word through some of his friends that also despised the king. Even if it were a small group, he knew that there was a common interest between them. Setting back out to the wall, he was followed by his recruits. The rebirth of the Dai Li was coming to order.
He waited for the general to return, holding his troops hidden amongst the shade of night. This was truely an evening to remember. The tyranny would finally come to and end. At least they hoped so. Aion must be recruiting his best officers for the job, he's been out for awhile. What could be pausing him?
________________
"I need to meet up with the others, I'm late." One of the guards had just gotten the word about the Dai Li's reformation. He had finished his shift and was heading out. Upon reaching the gates, another guard had stood before him. Maybe he was waiting to go with him to the wall where the rest of the soldiers were. "Hello there! I'm on my way now, my shift has just ended." The man at the gate made a quick jolt and stomped his foot into the ground. A fairly large boulder shot at the other guard and pinned him. Dragging him back into the castle, the man cuffed his hands and feet together with a strong steel cuff. Leading him through the halls, they were approaching king's throneroom. "We'll find out what you're hiding.."

Aion had gathered the very best of his men. Each and every one had proved time and time again in battle to endure, to use bending like a master, and to have loyalty to the Earth Kingdom, rather than the King himself. They all agreed with his reformation of the Dai Li right off the bat, and had said they would all meet up with them.
He gathered twenty five of those men, and brought them to the palace, meeting up with the Guard and the other members whom he chose. The plans were going accordingly, Aion smirked. It was finally the day... to end all of the tyranny that had been happening for decades.
"It's time. The King is my first target, but it will be tough to get to him. Dai Li, remove any threat within the palace on the way through the Great Hall and into the Throne Room. We march upon a new day and victory this night!" Aion commanded proudly. "For the Earth Kingdom!"
With that, Aion stamped the ground in front of the giant metal covered palace doors. His feet became dug into the hard rock, supporting him. He stuck his hand out, and as if the doors were just giant sheets of paper, slashed his hand into them, and pulled. The doors creaked and cracked. The metal started to twist and deform. The hinges broke, and the doors were utterly destroyed. He them back his arms, tossing the great doors over his shoulder, letting them clatter to the ground in a great smash.

Kenji had finished the bread while unlocking the door to his room when he had heard a crash soming from a little ways around the corner. "what was that?" Kenji had whisperd to himself as he rounded the corner walking towards the sound.
he stayed pressed agains the wall as he looked over a crate at the palace
He saw a group of men gatherd around the broken door. He sat there quitly trying to figure out entirely what was happening and thinking what he should do

Hearing the doors blast open, Shenrai looked off in the direction the sound had come from. He swiftly got up from his seat. "That you for delivering such a wonderful message. But it seems I have no further use for you." The guard that had been captured was being held by another one of the king's men. A large group of 25 royal guards were in the throneroom, ready for what was about to happen. "Get rid of him, there is no reason to keep him here now. Afterall, we have guests approaching."
A guard raised his hand and dropped it towards the floor. The tied up man fell underground and was no longer seen. The other guards raised their hands as slates of rock formed in front of the large door. "You three, come with me. We'll be taking detour to the secret spot." With that, the king and a few followers left through a hidden door out of the castle. The rest of the men remained in the throneroom, prepared for the intruders.
Shenrai walked steadily, making sure not to make noise as his escorts remained in front of him. He was deep in thought about today's earlier message. The Avatar was making his way to the earth kingdom, this could be of great use to him. It wouldn't be easy though, the Avatar may be inexperienced with the other elements, but he's definately not going to be a fool. This plan had to be thought out.

Aion walked into the throne room as he had done so many times in his life. He walked in a manner of immense pride and a sense of duty. The twenty five guards stood ahead of his, spears at the ready. He could tell that they all were frightened and did not want to fight him, their own General. As he walked, he unsheathed his Jian, the long blade glimmered in the candle light.
"Stand down or be prepared to fight again your General and the new Dai Li." Aion commanded in a loud tone.

Keji whatched in amazment as the force had walked into the palace. He sat there for a moment and looked through the blasted doors and quietly got up from his hiding spot and quickly and quietly followed the sounds of the foot steps through the hall way. he saw to forces confronting each other and sat there thinking what he should do, wait and hide or go and sound the alarm.

The guards stood ready, yet very unsure about what they were doing. They were fighting others they knew for a long time. Whether they worked with the king or not, it was still something they weren't ready for. What shocked them more was what General Aion stated about. The new Dai Li? Is it possible? The sound of this aggrivated some of the soldiers protecting the king and only confused the others more.
They stood firm in the middle of the throneroom. They were afraid but didn't care if their end was near. A few lifted their spears as rocks followed their movements. Without a word, boulders flew across the air as the soldiers charged forward into the brawl. They weren't going to let the general pass without a fight, even if he could take them down with little effort. They needed to bide some time for the king to escape successfully.

Aion gritted his teeth in frustration. He would rather not have to harm the guards. The only one that he considered to be a target was the King. But, he knew he would not pass without taking care of all of the guards in the room. Sighing, he got into his combat stance. Stamping the ground, he knew what he had to do.
The enemies all stood rigidly together in the center of the room. After stomping the ground below, he forced the ground below his enemy to rise rapidly to the ceiling. Using the new opening, he rushed past the giant column that now stood. He could hear the pleas of help and yells of surprise from the guards who now stood only a foot from the high vaulted ceiling above. Aion turned back to his fellow Dai Li and pointed to the stranded enemies.
"I want you to take care of them. Capture them, no killing. Our only prey is King Shenrai!"
At that, Aion ran, using the earth below him like a surfboard, softening it and sliding like a bolt of lightning down the various halls toward the Kings location.

Kenji stayed silent from his position he watched and looked out over the soldiers until one of them started the fight.. The man sent the opposing soldiers up towards the ceiling them seemed to glide away through the palace halls. Kenji still sat there watching if he went towards the exit he could be caught, and the motives of this group were not entirly clear. some of the guards were able to escape down the piller in a poor atempt to defend themselves, any one that was able to get down was quickly pinned to the floor or walls and there weapons removed.

Reaching a small underground labrynth, Shenrai and two of his guards walked through the path they had marked to get to safety. This spot was built incase of such an occasion. The king move quickly but, the strange roar of slience rushed through the air like a gust.
"Let's see them catch me now." He thought to himself. There were a lot of dead ends in this maze, but that doesn't mean that they couldn't catch up to him. This would be good to buy some time in order to escape successfully. The two guards lifted their arms into the air after stancing sturdily against the ground. The door closed tight behind them.
"Alright let's move." Going through the underground passage had lead them to the large wall. Shenrai was in disbelief. What had caused the soldiers to rebel? And what was all this about the new Dai Li? He couldn't let them take over the Earth Kingdom, not while he was still alive. They may have driven him out for now, but it wouldn't last.

Aion surfed all the way to the shut door at the end of the hallway. He gritted his teeth, just thinking of the cowardice of the King made him enraged. He slowed to a stop and ran up to the sealed door. Putting a hand on it, he realized that it was metal. Closing his eyes, he punched his fist through the door and started to bend the metal as if it were tin foil.
The door collapsed and fell outward. Aion rushed forward, jumping over the crumpled mass of steel, and ran toward the Kings location. He was now catching up, and quickly, using the stone and sand below to speed his race toward assassination.

"Lord Shenrai, someone's gaining on us!" The king knew his fate would be met, there was no way to get away in time. But how could the metal door sealing the labyrinth be destroyed so easily? There's no way... could Aion be...? It was very possible, but there was no time for thinking. Reaching the very corner of the gate walls, there was no escape. General Aion had caught up completely, now standing before him.
"Mhmhmmm.. AAHAAHAAHAAAA!!!" The king burst out in laughter as he glared down at the new leader of the Dai Li. This was it, there was no more running. It was time to do what had to be done. "General Aion... It seems that this must be finished." The two imperial guards stepped forward. Shenrai raised his hands forcefully as rocks levitated around him. "You may have brought back the Dai Li, but you will not take over MY kingdom! This is my domain! These are my subjects! The world will know of the Earth Kingdom's rage against the Fire Nation!!"
Shenrai stanced himself as the guards moved forward. There were no signs of mercy in anyone's eyes, a large force of power could be felt as everything intensified. "This is the END FOR YOU AION!!"
The boulders that emerged from below only grew larger as the guards launched them. The king stood motionless as the guards took on the general. Rocks levitated around him defensively, but were ready to strike at any given moment. He wasn't about to give up his kingdom, he wasn't about to die here. Aion would pay for trying to overthrow him.

Aion grinned as he saw the King ready himself for battle. The Imperial Guards looked a bit scared at their own Captains presence, because unlike the King, they knew what he was capable of.
Aion slowly got into his own stance and then drew his Jian Sword, the gleaming metal of the sleek steel blade aimed directly at the King. He suddenly stomped the earth with both his feet, a hard thick shell of rock formed around him into a sort of armor. With one hand, he Earth bended rock out from the ground, and neatly shaved it into a large shield.
"The Dai Li shall forthwith be taking control of the Earth Kingdom, Shenrai. Lay down your weapons, and I promise not to break every bone in your body." Aion said simply.

The guards froze just as they were about to attack. Aion's rock armor and weaponry completely threw them off center. Shenrai grunted in agitation from the comment. He was not about to be made a fool of. "What are you doing you fools?!! I want that man destroyed IMMEDIATELY!!"
It seemed they were more afraid of Shenrai than of Aion. Sprung back into conciousness, both guards struck with great valor. Relentlessly hurling rocks and causing tremors towards the general, they showed no signs of giving in. On par with this, they were scared out of their skin of the fact that they were about to die. No matter what they did, either the king or general Aion would defeat them.
The king held his stance, covering his feet, hands, and torso in condenced rock. Revolving around his body in what looked to be a spherical pattern were rocks of all shapes and sizes. Shenrai was losing his cool very quickly. He was notorious for his short fuse. Forcefully stomping the ground beneath him, tremors caused the earth to shake. With a quick fist to the dirt, sharp rocks erupted from the ground. He let out a loud war cry as he furiously assaulted towards Aion.

Aion did not want to kill the guards whom attacked him. He parried their slashes and blocked their stabs effortlessly, and then with one hand, which he smashed into the ground, he sunk the two Guards into five feet of rock in the ground. He then focused his attention onto Shenrai. Stomping the ground, a thick wall of rock shot up and guarded Aion from the shooting rock bullets. Another stomp sent the wall horizontal and flying at Shenrai.

The large slab stopped in front of Shenrai as he pushed his hand forward. Sending it back, he struck another foot into the ground. The tablet of earth had grown in size. In case of dodging or blocking, he fired a few sharp-edged boulders towards Aion. Refusing to show any signs of giving in, Shenrai sent another fist into the earth. More fairly large pillars rushed into the open.
"Dodge this!!" He lifted his hands high into the sky as the pillars levitated higher. Tossing them one by one at Aion, he planted a few in front of him as a guard for any incoming attacks. Aion was putting up a fight, the king knew darn well that he was strong beyond compare. Rage had consumed Shenrai as more sharp rocks and pillars lunged ferociously towards the general. It was a relentless onslaught of earth.

Aion knew that if the battle stretched on any further, that this entire Coup could fail. He would finish Shenrai before this situation could get any worse. If the people of Ba Sing Se were to find the King and his highest General fighting to the death.. what would that say to the population? Political instability, anarchy, insubordination, and the worst.. a weak monarch.
Aion gave a loud warcry and jumped full force into the ground. As he stood back up, lifting both arms into the air, a wall of giant proportions stretched for a hundred feet in length. The pillars, dwarfed by this ultimate defense crumbled against it like arrows to a iron shield. Aion sent his hands down and smashed them into the earth as fists. Soon, all the land around them started to swirl into a giant tempest beneath the earth. It was started to suck Shenrai in, and yet as much as he could struggle, he could not break free of its grasp on him. The earth trembled as the metal within was bended along with rock to form a suffocating prison.
Aion could still hear the screams from the King, he knew that the metal being imbued with the earth was cutting his body to shreds beneath the soil... he tried not to think about such things however. The King, being brought to his doom, sunk slowly into his very own coffin five hundred feet below the earth.
