Mission II: The Invasion

"Our country is strong. If we must protect Freedom, we must do it in other places too. If we Americans can control this invasion of North Korea, then we can bring freedom and break the oppression of North Korea." Lieutenant General Shepherd's voice is calm and strong at the same time.

"Leave the invasion in charge of the Americans? I do not know about this." says British Major General Isaac Powell. Shepherd had always hated it when people underestimated him. He felt like grabbing his .44 Magnum and shooting the ignorant General.

"But if the Americans will take command, we must also help as well. I can promise Australian Helicopters to support you in the Naval Invasion." says Australian Major Reiners.

"Yes, yes, you must help us with aerial support, and can we trust the Canadians for help as well?" comes the voice of Shepherd as he glances over to Canadian Major Lafert.

"We will definitely help you." replies Lafert, eager to help in this invasion. Suddenly General Powell speaks up.

"I could not believe that the Sunshine policy broke so fast. The Death of one man causes the War of Many Nations." he says, and the Australian and Canadian Majors nod their heads in agreement. Old fool, thought Shepherd, War will always find a way into a Society, whether it be over land or over a toy car. War must happen, or people will forget how to survive them.

"So we shall invade North Korea from the North while the South Koreans fight their way up to Pyongyang. My decision is to attack the shores of .... Rason." says Shepherd, sliding the pencil over to the City of Rason on the Map of Asia.

"Very well, Rason it is. We should ready up our troops." says Reiners.

21 hours later

"Alright! Your objective is the shore of Rason, if you take it, then this battle is over. Remember, you are from the Allies! You will stand strong together instead of weak while divided." declares Shepherd. The Men from America, Britain, Australia, and Canada cheer the General. Shepherd walks away, and the Lieutenants come to assign their troops to the boats.

"You heard the General! Get on the Boats!" yells Lieutenant Baker, a British officer. The troops obey, and the battle of Rason begins when the boats start moving to the shores.

"We're taking enemy fire!" yells Sergeant Hockney, holding his M4A1 in his hands. "Fire back at them! Use your Grenade Launchers to bombard the North Koreans!"

"God damn it, they're pinning us down!" shouts Private Alden, who is trying to fire his L86 LSW, but cannot due to fear of being hit by enemy bullets, which hit the Assault Boat or the Water close to it.

"You thought it would be easy?" asks Private Daniels while aiming his M40A3. Seconds later, he pulls the trigger, felling a North Korean officer.

When you type in your Load out, you can start playing, you don't need to be accepted, you only need to be accepted in your registration on the Military registration sub forum.

I strongly recommend a Grenade Launcher attachment on your weapon if a Grenade Launcher is allowed on it (If you don't want a Grenade Launcher, you still have M67s. I recommend a Shovel for digging in when you have to. I would also recommend a Machine Pistol, so you can fire really fast.

Wilson loaded on to the boats like everyone else, as the boats were on there way he looked out on to the beach. He checked his gear while the boats lurched closer and closer then it started, gunshots rang out from the beach head as everyone took cover and began to return fire. Wilson stood there fireing his M240 hopeing to help suppress the machine gun emplacements.

As the Boats get to the shore, the Allied soldiers take cover behind rocks. North Koreans advance on their position, unloading Bullets on the Allied troops. Lieutenant Baker immediately stands up and fires his pistol at the North Koreans, killing one and wounding another. Sergeant Hockney gets to Private Daniels.

"DANIELS!! You, get to high ground and snipe them at their Right. We must draw in their troops, because right now they are drawing more of OUR troops into the fight." says Hockney. Daniels salutes him.

"Yes sir, on it sir."

Private Henderson and Alden take cover behind a rock and start firing at the North Koreans. Alden fires his L86 at the North Koreans, making bullets hit the sand and North Korean troops at the same time. Henderson starts bombing the enemies with his Grenade Launcher, taking out a few North Koreans.

As soon as Wilsons boat hit the beach the troops ran for cover although most went down before ever reaching it, Wilson was one of the lucky few that had made it ashore. Once he gatherd himself he checked his ammo and set down his gun and began to unload on the North Koreans. "Grenade!!" a voice yelled out as a small metalic object landed besides there position "dammit!" Wilson said to himself quickly grabing his gun and running. Wilson moved fast but the force of the grenade knocked him down and put a piece of shrapnel in his left arm. He ignored the wound and set back up his gun and contiued to fire.

Approaching the beach-head reminded him of D-Day, the hurling of troops and the stray bullets splashing into the water near them every so often. He adjusted his MICH helmet and readied his SCAR-H, once they hit the shore they were expected to storm the Vietcongs, making way for reinforcements and the main ground forces.

As the boat hit shore Corporal Eckbert could hear the voice of a tense Lt. Baker holler "Go Go Go!" as the soldiers rushed out of the boat, instantly shredding it by the sudden increase of fire upon it. Luckily, he had gotten to a nearby steel Hedgehog before any fire could be directed on him. Nearby, most his squad were firing from behind the cover of a large rock. As fire redirected, he jogged the fast he could, with his hand on his helmet and body low to the ground until he reached the safety of the boulder.

"Sir! Or-" his question was cut short by a nearby bullet, pinging off the top of the rock, causing the Corporal to duck. "Orders?" he awaited his response, firing pot-shots every few seconds.

Soon, the North Koreans decide to retreat back to the city of Rason, occupying the Houses.

"The Civilians have been evacuated to Pyongyang! LET'S TAKE THAT CITY!" yells Baker, his voice very loud amidst the Fire.

Private Henderson starts to advance, dodging Sniper Fire by taking cover behind various rocks and trees.

A Colonel Hanswell leads the Invasion.

"To the City! If we don't take it today, we'll make no progress for today! Snipers, aim for their Snipers, the rest, advance and take Rason by all means! Prepare to engage in Urban Warfare!" he shouts.

Private Alden smirks and then advances forward, while Daniels lies down near a fallen Tree, and fires, killing a North Korean sniper with his M40.

Wilson heard the call to began an advance, he reloaded his M240 and layed suppresive fire on some of the sniper nests while the other troops contiued up the beach. Wilson grabed his grenade launcher and fired into a fox hole were and enemy gunner flew out onto the blood stained sand. he loaded another grenade and fired at were he thought a sniper was hiding then contiued to fire his M240 down range.

Dusty ran up the beach, bullets from the enemy whizzing past his head and hitting other soldiers that weren't as lucky as he was. Dusty dived behind some cover after a nearby machine gunner, aimed his sights on his head. Dusty popped up from cover and shot the man three times in the chest with his M4A1. A sniper bullet smacked into the cover of the broken tree he was behind, tearing through the weak defense and almost hitting him in the arm. Dusty peeked around the cover and saw the glint of a sniper's scope. Dusty switched to his grenade launcher attachment and shot a well aimed shot at the sniper's location, sending him flying.

Dusty heard the orders to charge up to the city, and got up from his cover to run quickly after the group, hoping that no stray bullets would hit him. A bullet hit the ground in front of Dusty, and he dived forward, trying to throw the unnacurate sniper off. The sniper was fairly nearby on a building, so Dusty got up and shot the sniper in the head by using his sights. Dusty ran towards the group of his soldiers approaching the city and prepared for more enemy attacks.

Corporal Eckbert charge in and out of cover, firing at exposed Koreans as he went. He switched to his M203 and aimed for a nearby entrenchment causing his fellow soldiers grief. After a few minutes of aiming, he fired. *Thunk* echoed as the grenade arched through the air unto its target. Direct hit, the men inside fell over dead, killed by the shrapnel.

He was pinned immediately as the other nests fired upon his cover. He noticed a sniper post in one of the nearby houses - he could see the faint glint of a sniper Rifle through his own, quickly, he attempted to kill the sniper. As he fired controlled bursts, the sniper took cover, wounded.

"LET'S GO! Advance!" shouts Lieutenant Baker

Sergeant Hockney breaks a window that belonged to a house.

"Eckbert, Wilson, Henderson, Dusty, get in through the window!" he shouts.

Private Henderson shoots A North Korean guarding the house with his Glock 18.

Wilson ducked as a bullet flew past his head and contiued his onslaugh after reloading. He began to advance picking his targets and taking them out.
Wilson heard the Lietenant and ran over to the window and hoped through and fired a surprised guard. "alright all clear!" He said cheacking the house for other guards.

H2 jumps through the window searching for anymore guards with his heartbeat sensor
"Sir, we've got about 10 more up ahead. Looks like just scouts."

Dusty put away his M4A1 and pulled out his PP2000 and then jumped through the window, following the others. Dusty looked over H2's shoulder at his heartbeat sensor and noticed one of the dots getting closer and closer from the right. Dusty took cover on the corner near a hallway that he estimated one of the scouts was coming from.

Dusty took a deep breath and spun out of cover, shooting his PP2000 rapidly at an unexacting scout.

"That's nine now, sir," Dusty said, confirming the kill.

"Let's occupy this house." says Sergeant Hockney. "Daniels, you get up on the upper floor, Henderson, Dusty, Wilson, you too. H2, Alden, Eckbert, you're with me on this floor. Understood?"

"Yes, sir." says Henderson as he and Daniels get up on the upper floor. Daniels and Henderson get near a window and Daniels aims his Sniper, while Henderson fires his M4A1 at North Koreans trying to advance to the house. Suddenly, Daniels fires.

"Hey, Henderson, I think I got a Lieutenant." he says, grinning. Private Henderson turns around, grinning as well.

"Daniels, your mother ever tell you're a dick?" says Henderson jokingly. The Two men burst out laughing.

Meanwhile, at the Bottom floor Sergeant Hockney fires his Glock 18 at North Koreans, covering Alden as he sets his L86 on a window.

"Get that MG on the window, I can't cover your sorry ass forever!" yells Hockney. Alden finally sets his L86 LSW on the window and starts firing wildly.

"He ain't getting back up again." says Alden as he guns down a North Korean NCO with his LMG.

H2 moves in closely on the bottom floor. He motions for Alden to take out the 2 guards resting against a wall talking.
"Take them out quietly."
H2 moves slowly towards the guards
"Looks like we've got 5 or so inside the room past the guards. We should try a breach just in case there are hostages or alarms inside."

Daniels looks into his scope.

"Hey Henderson, spot some targets for me." he asks. Henderson turns.

"Gladly." he says as he gets next to Daniels and takes the binoculars he is offered by Daniels. Henderson sees some snipers at the Center of Rason.

"Daniels, Tangos at the Center, multiple targets, ranging from 3 to 5. North Korean snipers, take them out." he says.

James ran toward the side of the house with all his energy, trying to suppress the Koreans with his M4. He finally reached the wall of the building, and he flattened his back against it, readying his grenade launcher. He sprinted for the door, firing a grenade into the crowd of enemies.

He made his way upstairs to the sergeant. "Private James Darnell, reporting for duty, sir!" he said, nearly out of breath.

"Private! You downstairs with Alden, H2, and Eckbert!" yells the Sergeant amidst enemy fire.

"They're trying to cover their escape out of Rason, shoot down the remaining North Koreans!" shouts Lieutenant Baker, as he enters the house.

James Henderson grabs his M4A1 and starts bombarding the North Koreans with his M203. Daniels starts shooting other North Korean snipers, eager to make sure many North Koreans die before they run away.

Alden starts shooting his machine gun furiosly while Sergeant Hockney provides suppressing fire on the North Korean Army as to make sure they do not shoot at Alden.

Wlison had set up his gun on one of the second story windows and opend fire on some of the approching troops. A few bullets fly past his head so he ducks and pulls out his grenade lancher. he takes aim and fires clearing away a group of enemy soldiers.

"They're all retreating, running from their own city." observes Lieutenant Baker.

"A Damn Invasion and we sent them packing and running. I'll call in Shepherd, he has to see this." says Major Reiners. He starts talking through his comms system. "Sir, the North Koreans have left the city, they are in full retreat, we've taken Rason."

Shepherd's voice is heard through the comms system.

"Sure it matters if we did take Rason or not, but we are the most powerful Coalition there is. Every man is important in our operations, and we perform them well and swiftly. We cannot help the North Korean Army, definitely not, but we can help North Korea so it may eventually rise up against the Communist Army. That, is worth a hundred coalitions. There are many parts to a war, but the beginning stage is a Perfect Invasion."
