It's been a while since this topic has been used... *wipes off the dust* Anyways, I have a gameplay method that I'd like to sort of discuss, if anyone is interested.

In nearly all RPs, we use third person writing and act as gods over our characters. I think it'd be interesting to have an RP that was actually first person for once. It'd be something new and I think it'd be pretty fun actually playing as your character rather than kind of hovering around them and directing their moves.

There are also some advantages. Some RPs have problems with players controlling other characters and such... With a first person game, I'd think that wouldn't happen as much. It also lets you elaborate more on what your character thinks of things and the others around them, so it'd be cool to see what it'd look like.

What do you guys think? It's just an old method that I'd like to see actually used, so I'm wondering if anyone else would be interesting to try it out sometime.

That is a very good idea, however in some RPs I know of its a dual view RP in a sense. What if we did a FP RP and made it so where other people can change the plot and not just 1 character?

So I've been thinking for awhile about trying a DnD-based RP, and now I've decided to come here and find how many of you are actually interested in a DnD-based RP. Right now I have nothing more then an idea so if you have any ideas for a plot or how it could possibly work then feel free to post 'em.

I just thought of one we could do with Allies and the enemy(which we can name later).

Something like combat on Earth in various locations, and in the sky. (Similar to like in Star Wars)

Maybe we can also implement some kind of espionage element to it?


Its a sketchy idea at the moment, but its a work in progress.
