History/Bio: Zarato was born and raised within the glaciers of the Northern Water Tribe. All his life he was trained by professional waterbenders and has mastered the element of water and ice to the fullest. Over the years, something had troubled him. He would witness dreams of the Avatars and awaken with strange feelings. Upon his 16th birthday, he was summoned to the council and told something that the elders had kept from him all along. He was the next Avatar. Now better understanding of himself, Zarato is willing to travel the world and master the other elements in order to keep peace amongst the 4 nations. With his animal guide, a koi-serpent named Getsu, he prepares himself for the long, ridged journey of becoming the next Avatar.

Clothing: Traditional Northern Water Tribe robe, shirt, pants, and shoes. During training and meditation he wears a dark blue tribal band over his eyes.

Weapons: Tribal Glaive (a pole-arm), named Torrent.
