Megatron was too easily persuaded, that seen was a little lame if you ask me. Lots of execution deaths too. Overall, for me a great movie with few complaints.

You know what, I'm interested to know -
To all of those who are uninvolved with Role Playing Games on LS, or those who have never hosted, I'd like to know why. This is more out of interest than offensive insinuations on my part, so.. don't take the question the wrong way. I have just noticed that the RPs here seem to always hold a certain "niche audience" if I might say. So, members of LS who have never RPd on the site: Is it just because you aren't really into such a thing? Are you uninterested in the genre of the RPs here? Have you ever thought of starting your own and requesting to be hosted here? Do you have any ideas that other hosts could use that might allow you to get into some of the games for once?

Don't be shy here, please answer truthfully. In the end, I think it would be very beneficial to LS as a community / RP oriented site. =D

Well I used to have fun with Davenport, but I really didn't know what I was doing hosting a game. After I stopped, I kind of fell off the bandwagon. I don't really like a lot of roleplay around wars and fighting, I'm more diplomatic/ a lover. What I found with roleplaying on the forum was that it was difficult to find the threads after the updates to the site and all. I mean I may be interested in playing again, but someone would really have to sell their game to make me want to play.

I am just terrible at RP's. Plain and simple. I'm terrible at making big posts and what not. Plus I am not on nearly enough to be effective in a very in depth game.

Well Tony if you were on enough, you have to start somewhere. Maybe try an RP that doesn't require loads and loads of text. As long as the posts are detailed I think that it won't matter the length per-say.

As DJ said, length isn't a big issue, it's the detail and the effort put into it. To be honest, if you just focus on the latter two, you might find yourself making longer and longer posts as a result.

Tony, and every other member out there - the only way to know for sure if you like or dislike RPing, or to see if you're good at it, is to simply give it a try. RPing isn't mandatory - once you join, you may leave if you dislike it. The same goes for hosting, albeit I hate having to close games just because the host gets bored or doesn't like their game anymore. XD

I tried it 3-4 different times. It wasn't for me. Too many people with their own agendas which leads to an incoherent mess followed by retcon posts.

See, this is where you are a bit wrong, Canter. Where players fight for themselves, their own countries, or have their own agendas - that would be a freeform type game. Those games, unless you consider a nation politics game such as EC as a freeform, typically do not do so well. However, when a game is very linear and all players are within a group or team, the game is actually quite fun as the players can develop their characters and really get into the story. Take RPGF's Wyrmslayer as an example - 13 chapters and ongoing. Big ups to Red for that masterpiece of a game. XD

SO, on this note - LS really needs a flagship game. A game with which everyone could really get into. I shouldn't be another war game, it shouldn't be a fantasy necessarily - something everyone here might like. It shouldn't be hard - I envision an adventure / mystery type of game, however the application always alludes me when I try to brainstorm one. Which is why it would be really nice if someone who hasn't hosted much, or at all, took up this challenge!
