Powers and Zanpakutō's Empty Powers and Zanpakutō's

Sun Jun 26, 2011 12:30 am
Alright this is where you can understand of Powers and Zanpakutō's. But here is the basics really.

Humans with powers are classified in two sections

First is the High-Spec Humans

They are humans who where either born with spirit energy or something was interacted with them that had spirit energy. The powers of these humans can be anything. For example a character named Orihime Inoue is a High-Spec Human whose main strength is to heal or reverse time of a injury. But she also has offensive and defensive powers as well.

Here is a example of her powers

Orihime Inoue's Attack
Powers and Zanpakutō's KoutenZanshun

This is here attack mode. It has a name which is Koten Zanshun (Solitary Sacred Cutting Shield). Every time she wants to attack she has to say its name.

Her power comes from her hair piece and six characters will come out each have a role. Of course you don't have to have characters in your powers because another example is Don Kanonji who can fire spirit balls at enemies

Powers and Zanpakutō's GoldenKanonball

Fullbring

Fullbring means Full Body Manifestation. Fullbring is a special ability which certain Humans are born with, in which they can manipulate the "soul" of matter for a variety of effects. Fullbringers each have a parent who was attacked by a Hollow before they were born. Traces of the Hollows' powers remained in their mothers' bodies, which were then passed onto them when they were born. It can range from body modifications, equipment addons, and etc.

The first example I will use Yasutora Sado attack
Powers and Zanpakutō's Chad_El_Directo-1

His arm can transform into something else. It also have more stages to it as well. But he still has to call it out.

Now the Zanpakutō's

They are carried by Soul Reapers and each sword has its own spirit that close to the user. A Zanpakutō's shape and abilities are based on their Soul Reaper's soul. Once a Soul Reaper learns his/her sword's name, they are able to communicate with one another and grow stronger together. Zanpakutō are born with their Soul Reaper and they die along with their Soul Reaper. Soul Reaper use them in battle as a reflection of their heart. When released, they can display a vibrant power. They are one with the Shinigami, and they share a Soul Reaper's conviction.

Alright each zanpakutō has three forms. Sealed, Shikai, and Bankai

Sealed

Most Zanpakutō look like regular katana, with slight variations between them as one would expect between different swords. There variations are commonly in a Katana, Wakizashi, and a Nodachi (I will allow different swords shapes)

Shikai

Shikai is the second release mode of a Zanpakutō.

In order to activate the Shikai mode the wielder must learn the swords name and be one with it. The sword can change in appearance and spirit energy. In some rare cases some swords are always in this mode because the wielder have very high spirit energy. They also can develop special abilities like create ice or the blade extend to a very long length. Here is a example.

Powers and Zanpakutō's Renji_shikai

In order to activate Shikai mode their is a command and then the Zanpakutō's name

Like "Roar Zabimaru"

Roar is the command and Zabimaru is the name of Zanpakutō

Bankai

This is the final release mode of a Zanpakutō. Its the hardest to obtain and the most powerful. Depending on the user the blade changes from a different blade to the Zanpakutō soul cumming out in some way in order to fight. Only Captains and certain Lieutenants have obtained this ability in the Soul Society. The power that comes with Bankai tends to be similar to the Shikai's ability/theme, but amplifies it to much greater levels of power and effect.

Here are some examples.

Powers and Zanpakutō's Empty Re: Powers and Zanpakutō's

I'd just like to add in a bit more, and granted I am a bit more... knowledgeable in this arena so bear with me. XD

I'd like to also inform you all of Kido - Demon Way (trans.)

Kido is essentially a Shinigami (Soul Reaper's) spiritual power manifested into the form of a powerful spell with various effects. Kido is essentially split into two major categories -

Hado and Bakudo.

(NOTE: Humans are unable to learn Kido, as they must be taught it in the Shinigami Academy... which lies in Soul Society

Both types of Kido are spells rated from #1-99. A level 99 spell is obviously the most powerful one might be able to use, and for this reason usually only Captian or Lieutenant level Shinigami are able to master such a spell - and even so must still recite the entire incantation in order to have it be successful.

If one learns how to use a technique named Eishōhaki, then they are powerful enough in willpower, strength, and spiritual pressure to be able to skip any incantation and announce the straight spell instead (ie; Bakudo Number 1: Sai)

Other than vocalized spells, Kido can also take a two other forms - being that of a zanpakuto's special abilities (example being 5th Division's Lieutenant - Momo Hinamori's zanpakuto Tobiume), and primarily for 4th Division - Healing Kido.

Now, let's get down to the spells -->

Bakudo - Way of Binding

Bakudo spells are essentially used to bind, stop, or slow down an enemy's attack. Bakudo spells aid with defensive, communication, binding, tracking and sealing. The following are known Bakudo spells as well as their number and incantation (if available). To make my effort less-so, I'm copypasta'ing from the Bleach wiki. lol

__________________________________

Bakudo #1 - Sai (restrain): Locks a target's arms in place behind their back.

Bakudo #4 - Hainawa (Crawling Rope): An energy rope entangles the target's arms.

Bakudo #8 - Seki (Repulse): Creates a round shield that seems to temporarily paralyze and repel whatever strikes it.

Bakudo #9 - Geki (Strike): Engulfs the target in red light, completely paralyzing them.

Bakudo #9 - Horin (Disintegrating Circle): Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.

Bakudo #21 - Sekienton (Red Smoke Escape): Creates a blast upon activation and is used like a ninja's smoke bomb.

Bakudo #26 - Kyokko (Curved Light): Hides the target from sight, by bending light. The spell has the ability to totally hide the presence and reiatsu of the user or specified object.

Bakudo #30 - Shitotsu Sansen (Beak-Piercing Triple Beam): Forming a golden triangle with one's finger, it shoots three beams of light that pin the target to one place on a surface, slamming into his or her body in three places in a shape of an equilateral triangle.

Bakudo #37 - Tsuriboshi (Suspending Star): Creates a star-shaped cushion of Spiritual Energy, which anchors it to nearby objects with "ropes" of spirit particles. It can stop falling objects, acting like a safety net.

Bakudo #39 - Enkosen (Arc Shield): Summons a shield of condensed reiatsu to block opponents' attacks.

Bakudo #58 - Kakushitsuijaku (Summoning of the Tracking Sparrows): Tracks and locates any spiritual force the user focuses on.

Bakudo #61 - Rikujokoro (Six Rods Prison of Light): Summons six thin, wide beams of light that slam into a target's midsection, holding them in place. The target is then unable to move any part of their body including the parts that were not struck by the beams.

Bakudo #62 - Hyapporankan (Hundred Steps Fence): A rod formed of energy is thrown towards the target before it disintegrates into numerous short rods which are used to pin the target to the surroundings and render them immobile.

Bakudo #63 - Sajo Sabaku (Locking Bondage Stripes): Similar to Bakudō No. 4, but stronger, this spell binds the arms of a target.

Bakudo #73 - Tozansho (Inverse Mountain Crystal): Creates an inverted pyramid-shaped barrier around the caster.

Bakudo #75 - Gochutekkan (Quintet of 1 kan Iron Pillars): Summons five incredibly tall and thick pillars which are connected to each other by chains to pin a target to the ground.

Bakudo #77 - Tenteikura (Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air): Transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing.

Bakudo #79 - Kuyo Shibari (Nine Sunlight Traps): Creates eight black holes that emit spiritual energy in the personal space surrounding the target, with a ninth black hole manifesting in the center of the targets chest.

Bakudo #81 - Danku (Splitting Void): Creates an energy barrier in the form of a rectangular wall. According to Byakuya, it is capable of stopping destructive spells up to #89.

Bakudo #99 pt.1 - Kin (Seal): Ties the target's arms on the back in addition to wrapping the spiritual fabric around the entire body, and continues to pin the target with spiritual fabric stacked to the ground around the target with several iron shafts in an "X" shape.

Bakudo #99 pt. 2 - Bankin (Great Seal): This spell covers the target from head to toe with spiritual fabric (First Song), stabs them with numerous metal bolts (Second Song), and then smashes them with an immense metal cube (Final Song).

Hado - the Way of Destruction -

These are offensive spells which harm an enemy or cause damage to objects. Like with any Bakudo spell, there is usually some form of incantation and the levels rise from 1-99. The following are all destructive spells that Shinigami may use.

Hado #1 - Sho (Thrust): Pushes the target away from the caster.

Hado #4 - Byakurai (Pale Lightning): The user fires a concentrated, powerful lightning bolt from their finger.

Hado #54 - Haien (Abolishing Flame): Fires a blast of purple spiritual energy that will incinerate a target completely when it makes contact.

Hado #58 - Tenran (Orchid Sky): A widening tornado-like blast is fired towards the target.

Hado #63 - Raikoho (Thunder Roar Spear): Fires a massive wave of yellow energy at a target.

Hado #73 - Soren Sokatsui (Twin Lotus Blue Fire, Crash Down): Essentially a doubled version of #33, this spell fires two shots of blue fire with greater potency than the single-shot variety.

Hado #90 - Kurohitsugi (Black Coffin): Envelops the target with a powerful torrent of gravity that takes the form of a box of black energy, covered in several spear-like protrusions. The spears then pierce the box, lacerating the one inside from head to toe.

Hado #91 - Senju Koten Taiho (Thousand-Hand Bright Hand Culling-Spear): Summons several spears of light that are all fired towards the same focal point where the intended target resides. The culminating explosion is exceedingly devastating.
