Chapter 2 - Crossing Over

The city of Tokyo was wide awake with the sounds of life. There was no part of the city that was quiet. It was the beginning of school for Dante, an Italian who was born in the heart of Japan.

Earlier in the morning Dante was getting ready for school until he got a glimpse of his tv. It was the local news station showing a skyscraper damaged by something. The reporters was speculating what caused the damage but deep down in Dante's mind he knew it was a hollow that caused it. The claws marks on the cement walls, the road filled with craters, and blood stains that only Dante can see was the true indicator of a hollow attack.

He finished up his thoughts and starts getting cleaned up for school. Wearing his required uniform and carrying his bag he gets on the monorail that heads towards his school. The ride through Meguro was a normal ride for Dante but not for anyone else. All of the locals where talking about Dante wondering who he is? But the ride got a little more interesting when the monorail stopped at one station. Four people walk in together wearing the same school uniform that Dante was wearing but the problem was he did not knew them. When they entered it seemed the pressure inside the monorail increased and only Dante felt it.

Hours passed and Dante was in the back of his classroom napping on his desk. When he woke up the blackboard showed several names of students. It seemed half of the classmates where new to his school. He looks around and sees the same guy from the monorail ride. Something was not normal about this person that was sitting across Dante. It was obvious that he was not from Tokyo but he was not like a regular student. It seemed he was hiding something like a secret. Every ten minutes he would look out to the window. Could he be a former thug who was wanted or was he just paranoid. Either way something was not normal about this orange haired kid.

Class was about to end until a loud scream like beeps kept going off. Dante looks over and the orange haired kid reacts to it and runs out of the class room. "Ichigo where are you running off to?" said the teacher. This puzzled Dante even more than before because it seemed that the loud scream like beeps was not even heard by the teacher or the other students. "What was that just now?" Dante said to himself.

Today was the day for the three captains to use the senkaimon and travel to the city of Tokyo. Captain Shoichi Hayashi of Squad 9 was the first one to arrive at the senkaimon. Earlier in the day he decided to have his lieutenant stay in control of Squad 9. Shoichi stands by and waits for the other two captains to arrive.
