Dice Roll Functionality

So, this isn't exactly new, nor is it a major announcement, but it constitutes as a feature not to be overlooked.

The dice roll function has been activated, and with the introduction to EPICivilizations, it will be used for any international move against another player - so it'd be best for any RPers to become familiar with it.

This is merely a testing topic for the feature - no one needs to post here. Feel free to of course. XD

OK... so what I'm gathering is that you must be in FULL POST to use the dice, unless you memorize the BBC Code for the dice roll which isn't all that hard...

Between the code one must put the amount of dice rolled of course. You will find the button for the code at the top alongside everything else in the posting area - clicking will drop down a list of the different dice. EC will obviously use the 20 sided dice named "EC Dice".

Without BBC Code, which I have disabled because using such would essentially allow for players to tamper with their original scores... one must have a message of course. At the bottom of their post (FULL POST MODE) one should find the option for "DICE ROLL".

Name the dice, and then figure out how many you're rolling. I am guessing that the role is permanent and unchangeable - exactly what I want for EC.

I need to test something. I need a normal member to roll something please. Roll an "EC Dice" ONCE please, no more.

As an admin, I am able to edit the post stating my scores however that might just be because I am an admin. Of course, I cannot re-roll... interesting.

Interesting... OK, so admins are likely able to tamper, yet it would be fucking obvious anyway since the dice roll post is separate from the normal post, it is always set as myself, and it would say "EDITED" at the bottom if I did anyway. If you ever see that, then obviously I tampered with the results.

BTW, for any who haven't caught on, this is Bleach. XD

OK, well here we have a pickle because phpBB is stupid enough to make the forum founder administrator as the dice roll post... thus adding to my own post count when those particular moves should count for nothing.

So... every time someone dice rolls they add a post to my count. -___-

Perhaps I can find a way around this.

OK, this should work. "Dice Roll" will now essentially be taking all the actual dice roll posts. Gooood. Solved everyone!

Dice Roll isn't technically a member, JB. XDD

It'll essentially function as a bot that takes score of everyone's roll whenever the dice roll function is used here. This way, people cannot mess with their scores - that would be cheating.

Just so everyone is aware - EC DICE, which is what we will be using in EC the game, is a 20 SIDED DICE. This means a low score of 1 will grant you horrid results, the mid ranged result (9-12) will grant you a medium result... example being in an attack - some enemies go down, most don't - and a high score is a total victory.
